I have been suffering from dry eye for more than a decade and I have been receiving treatment for severe Dry Eye for the past year by my regular eye doctor. My symptoms did not improve whatsoever and actually continued to worsen over the year. Finally, I googled Dry Eye specialist in Maryland and fortunately Dr. Azman's name popped up. Within one minute of meeting with him, he diagnosed exactly what kind of dry eye I have (there are different kinds and they have very different treatments). My previous eye doctor did not tell me this and I was actually receiving the wrong treatment for my particular dry eye. Dr. Azman knew exactly what to do for me and administered gel injections at my first appointment. This treatment made a huge improvement immediately. Two weeks later, I started IPL lid therapy and again noticed significant improvement right away. If you have been to several eye doctors with no success, your search is over. I sought care at the Dry Eye Center of Maryland after years of seeking relief from numerous eye doctors. I was very pleased with everything from the care provided by Dr. Azman, to the facilities and the staff. Everyone was helpful, pleasant and competent. I have sought eye care for my dry eye for several years in Maryland and nothing/no one helped me. During my first visit Dr. Azman was pleasant and listened to my complaints about dry eye. He explained the disease and explained how he could try help me. In my many years of suffering from dry eye this was a first. Anyway, Dr. Azman was successful in providing some relief and at the end of my 4 treatments my dry was very much improved and I have some relief. Thanks to Dr. Azman and his staff.

My wife, who works in the medical field, was referred to Dr. Azman by a trusted colleague after a disappointing experience with my prior provider, who missed my follow-up appointment and never bothered to reschedule. That oversight turned out to be a blessing. It led me to Dr. Azman and to the best eye care I have ever received. I presented to Dr. Azman at age 55 with a severe and completely new case of dry eye. I can't say enough about the wonderful care that I receive from Dr. Azman and everyone at the Dry Eye Center! The entire staff is both pleasant and professional. Dr. Azman's treatments have greatly helped my condition. I used to go to a top corneal specialist in Boston and the care here far exceeds my prior experience.

I've always had sensitive eyes, but that sensitivity went to a whole new level this past spring when I started getting large styes that would not go away. At that point, my eyes were so sensitive, I stopped being able to tolerate any eye makeup no matter what brand, type or ingredients because it would make my styes worse. I also had a droopy left eyelid that began to negatively affect my vision so much that I couldn't complete a routine eye exam in early June, which is when I received my diagnosis of ocular rosacea. The treating optometrist at the time prescribed me medication that didn't work well for long, and told me that intense pulsed light (IPL) might be an option for me, although he didn't offer that treatment at his office nor could my provider offer me any option for that type of treatment for months. After that, I researched my condition and decided my best option was to find a dry eye specialist who offered IPL treatments for people like me, and who could schedule me for a treatment evaluation quickly. That's when I found Dr. Azman and Azman Eye Care Specialists. Best move I ever made for my eyes! Dr. Azman himself offered the greatly appreciated personal approach of speaking with me directly before scheduling my evaluation very quickly, which is something no eye care office I had called seemed able to do. My evaluation was comprehensive, and my recommended treatment of four IPL sessions started within the two weeks that followed it. These four sessions have made a world of difference for my eyes (my before treatment, mid treatment, and after treatment pictures SHOW it); my styes went away, my eye inflammation went WAY down, the skin around my eyes looks and feels healthier, and Dr. Azman's treatments very likely saved my eye's tear and oil glands from severe and permanent damage. I am happily now a loyal patient of Azman Eye Care Specialists.

I have had a very good experience with Dr Azman treating my dry eyes. This is a condition that expertise in treatment is difficult to find.
