Do not visit for routine eye care. They might be OK for complex stuff, but handling records, basic eye exams... Go somewhere else where it won't take 30 days to get your eye test results to the DMV.

Was there for an eye appointment early, the facility had an electrical problem and couldn't check anyone in right away so from 10:15 to 11:15 am I saw patients come and go and was told to just sit down and wait to be called. I encountered the rudest person at the check in at the pediatric section (Sarah) . I hope that she gets some customer service training and soon.

5-star eye care (cataract surgeries) but 1-star billing. The estimate we got was $165 lower than the final bill. On the hook for physician expenses that Wilmer told us would be zero. Never got any explanation that made sense.

I am sorry I had cataract surgery with Dr. Glaros. He damaged my retina and I have big, blurry floaters that can't be fixed. I wish I never had the surgery. No one told me I could have these problems from the surgery.

The Wilmer eye institute and John's Hopkins on Orleans street was an absolutely incredible experience. My positive experience started on the phone with the receptionist. She was kind, efficient and thorough getting me an appointment as soon as possible looking at multiple locations. The building is state of the art. I felt safe being checked in and my bag being searched. It's a large building but everyone was very helpful giving directions. The receptionist at the front desk of eye institute was kind but did forget to validate my garage pass so remember to ask them. I absolutely loved working with Johanna the eye tech. She was kind and thorough. Dr. Casey was extremely thorough and attentive. I felt very comfortable in receiving medical care. Thank you to everyone involved for a positive experience!!

Before my glaucoma surgery, Dr. Thomas Johnson told me the procedure should keep my vision from getting any worse. Afterwards, I wore two-year old glasses that I was fitted with to watch T.V. About three months after the surgery, I realized it was the middle of the afternoon and I was not wearing my glasses!!! I rarely wear them, except when my eyes get tired, and I do not need them to drive. Each day I give thanks to Dr. Johnson and my restored vision. He is The Best!
