Gianna was amazing during my appointment. She was patient, reassuring, and incredibly helpful while teaching me how to put my contacts in and take them out. She explained everything clearly, stayed calm even when I was nervous, and made the whole process feel so much easier than I expected. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out, and she made my visit a great experience. Gianna is truly an asset to the office.

NEVER in my Entire life have I felt so uncomfortable that I had to walk away from somewhere mid appointment. Between the clearly visible disdain the employees had for me asking a question , and the obvious contempt for my appearance or clothing . (Had on work clothes , had to come straight form work ) it was clear I wasn't wanted there regardless if I was to spend money or god forbid just check up on my eye health. That was then followed by clear irritation because I asked for a breakdown of pricing , to then start being rushed through the process. I'm 38 and have worn contacts and glasses since I was 12 I'm no optometrist but I have had the same exams non stop for over 20 years so I at least know what to expect. This was ALL wrong . I was asked to read a line with my contacts still in . And these are old blurry contacts and when asked how that would help , there's confusion . I'm pretty sure I was about to get fully rushed and fully taxed because there was not a single care or concern for the wellbeing of by eyes or my self from the moment I spoke to someone . Stick with VisionWork or Americas Best. (Okay go where you want , lol not gonna be petty ) but yeah neeeevrrrrrr again

This was my first time visiting the Bowie location, and the staff was welcoming from the moment I walked in. Dr. Carmoly Sanders was very nice and extremely thorough with my daughter's eye exam. The staff, especially Ms. Gianna, was wonderful in helping my daughter pick out her very first pair of glasses. Ms. Gianna also took the time to clearly explain my benefits, which I really appreciated. Overall, we had an excellent experience and will definitely be returning!

Reece was able to troubleshoot an issue I had with a frame that didn't fit properly expeditiously and professionally. Many thanks to her! I will recommend this location to my peers.

This is my first time having to get glasses for my self. I purchased a pair of glasses that instantly broke with in 12 hours. I took it back because it was as if they crumbled in my hand. I spoke to the GM and she replaced them. With hesitation and a snarky attitude. It took another 2 weeks for them to come in. I now have a second pair and 2 days later they broke again. This time I realized that the reason they broke is because I used rubbing alcohol to clean them. Now I understand that rubbing alcohol isn't a long term solution to clean glasses but I tried eye glass cleaner and it still left a film. So I figured alcohol would remove what ever was on there. 1 time use of rubbing alcohol and frames instantly broke in my hand. I've used the same rubbing alcohol to clean multiple sunglasses and never once did they instantly fall apart. I paid almost $200 for these glasses and 1 single use of rubbing alcohol shouldn't make the frames instantly crumbled. If so, a label should be present on the case. Outside of the extremely cheap quality of glasses, the service isn't great either. The staff is extremely dismissive and rude. I'm essentially taking a Lost on these glasses because I simply don't want to deal with the rude customer service. I'm not saying I don't have a part in this but I honestly didn't think rubbing alcohol will instantly break the frames. Over time yes. I wish my experience was different to even want to go and deal with this but I will take the L and never go back.

I came in on a Saturday and the one lady at the front was rude. I went back on a Monday and Reecie helped me. Total different experience. She was nice and helpful. Happy I decided to try again. I ended up using one of my benefits to purchase glasses.

Some (not all) of the staff here are snarky and rude when you just come to them to ask simple questions. They act as if you should have first rate knowledge of what you are looking for but not everyone has been wearing eyeglasses all their life and we want to know our options. Looking at the comments, it seems that staff have been rude here for the past few years with no resolve!

I've been coming here for three or four years, and the staff is always welcoming! Gianna was so helpful when I came in on October 2nd for my yearly eye check; she helped me select the perfect pair of glasses!
