Lots of helpful people here. Good doctor. Wait was normal for a doctor's office. Choices were great for glasses and the doctor made recommendations for contacts, plus they are getting me a sample to try . Super helpful! My insurance was accepted and Jennifer helped make sure that things stayed in my budget.

New to area, took my insurance, had lots of options for eyewear. The worked with my schedule, budget and helped me sort out what looked good within my budget. The doctor was thorough and helpful. I would go back and have suggested my husband get his exam here .

This was my first visit, and unfortunately I left feeling uncomfortable with how pricing was handled. During the appointment, the salesperson repeatedly asked if I wanted to add certain features or services, but it was not clearly disclosed that each of these came with additional charges. When I asked questions about pricing, the responses focused on general information about the exam rather than specific costs for the add-ons. As a result, I assumed the total I was hearing reflected the exam itself, not multiple additional charges. I acknowledge that I could have been more direct with my questions, and I take responsibility for that. However, as a first-time customer, I believe pricing should be transparent and clearly communicated upfront--especially when optional services are being added incrementally. Seeing the full cost only after the visit felt misleading, and I left feeling taken advantage of rather than informed. Clear, itemized pricing before services are added would greatly improve the customer experience.

I'm usually hesitant about chain eye care offices because they can feel rushed and transactional, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the California, MD location -- especially Dr. Adam Davis. The office was clean, organized, and ran on time. The staff was welcoming and thorough, and the equipment felt modern and up to date. Dr. Davis was attentive, explained everything clearly, and made sure my contact lenses fit perfectly with my stigmatism. The part that really stood out? The team's emotional intelligence. At one point I jokingly criticized my appearance while sitting in front of a mirror, and the assistant simply rotated it away without missing a beat. Subtle, kind, and honestly impressive.

Made an appointment with the new insurance, had to wait a little bit, but I guess that's cause I'm not the only person that needs eye exam and eyeglasses. Was treated very nicely and very kindly but mostly I was treated as somebody who needed a pair of eyeglasses and they were helping guide me to something that fit my face within my taste and my budget. I really like coming here even though sometimes I might have to wait a little bit.

We've used this MyEyeDr location for several years. Some staff are great, but repeated issues with dismissive behavior and management finally pushed us to leave. In July 2025, my wife and I purchased multiple pairs of glasses during the same visit. My prescription was wrong -- the astigmatism axis was off. The glasses were remade once, but I was told they were "correct" and no further action would be taken. When I requested a re-exam, I was told it would be 2-3 weeks out. I asked to speak with the manager, who initially wouldn't come out. Once I insisted, there were suddenly cancellations and I was seen the same day. The re-exam confirmed the prescription error. The issue wasn't the mistake -- it was the dismissive handling and resistance until I escalated. My wife still has issues with the glasses she purchased at the same time, but after how we were treated, she refuses to return for correction. In February 2026, I went back just to get copies of invoices. They provided mine but initially refused to release my wife's invoices, even when I asked if they could simply email them to the address already on file. This turned into unnecessary back-and-forth and rude behavior over a simple request that was only resolved after my wife called. The same manager was present during both situations. We won't be returning. Some staff are excellent, but management and certain employees consistently make basic requests feel like an inconvenience.

I go to this particular location because of the manager, Jennifer, and her staff. Not only are they a well organized, customer centric team, they are focused on making your experience positive. They truly care about your eye health and will do their best to make sure that you get the most out of your healthcare benefits as well as obtaining a professional examination. Definitely recommend Jennifer and her team!

Went to this location for the first time and they took my insurance . The eye doctor was very thorough and I was able to order glasses from a fairly large selection. This place was busy, I took that as a good sign. It also meant I had to wait a little bit, but all the staff took their time with me when it was my turn. All in all, this was a good experience getting glasses.
