Not sure if this place is trying to scam patients or just incompetent when it comes to vision insurance. Made an appointment through my insurance, but when I arrived the staff at the front desk said they didn't know how to enter my information to get the correct pricing. Dr. Lam convinced the patient ahead of me to just pay out of pocket and take the matter up with their insurance company. I decided not to pay triple the amount quoted online when the appointment was made. Beware of the bait and switch.

The front desk staff here is not trained to apply vision benefits, waited 45 minutes while 2 employees tried to figure out how to apply Aetna benefits. They told me to wait for Dr. Lam who decided it was best to pay out of pocket 200% of the quoted online price. when I made my appointment. Wasted an hour of my day, decided against being price gouged and left.

I wish I read the reviews before I went, almost fell victim to their scam - advertise one price using vision insurance, then claim to have system issues or blame Aetna while trying to charge 3 x the quoted price out of pocket. I'm surprised Target lets them get away with this since they are located inside, and even more disappointed that Dr. Lam has the final say and tries to justify this scam. Wasted time here, but did not fall victim to their unethical business practices.
