Great office, no complaints - I would highly recommend. Clean comfortable office. I've only seen Dr. Duan and she is great and very patient and knowledgeable and explains things in a way you can understand. When I realized I was almost late for my next appointment, she didn't hold it against me and was still very nice to me and taught me a lot about my eyes just in one visit.
As we all know, admin folks can make or break an office visit and so I also have to commend the EXCELLENT front office staff. Kendall(?) is very personable, kind, and knowledgeable and helped me pick out my glasses and went above and beyond at every part of the process. I didn't interact much with the woman front office person but the interactions I did have were pleasant and she seems great too. Wonderful, comfortable, friendly space and vibe. All in all, this place seems to be a true gem.

Dr. Duan is the best optometrist to ever treat me. As an elderly patient, I have many optical issues. Dr. Duan is very knowledgeable and is able to treat and follow all my conditions. She gives me clear explanations and instructions. I enjoy my visits because she is a delightful caring person.
Kendall is also a positive part of the practice. He is helpful and has a wonderful personality. I look forward to seeing him, too.

I had my initial visit at Ellicott City Vision on Feb. 5, 2026. I was warmly welcomed by Lawren at the front desk. I was seen by Dr Duan at my scheduled appointment time. Dr Duan did a thorough examination, listened to my concerns, answered my questions and explained her findings in detail. I then saw Kendell to be fitted for my new glasses. He was very detailed with the fitting and explained everything. Overall my experience was outstanding. I highly recommend Ellicott City Vision practice.
