Eye Associates

I'm very pleased with my new Neurolens glasses. They have brought pleasant and welcome relief from dry, tired eyes that I had grown to simply see as something I had to endure. I found the lens fitting and education process quite informative and their performance is truly remarkable. I'm glad I tried them and continue to be pleased.

Dr. Rama at Eye Associates in Columbia, Md is amazing! I am a 64 year old man, and I have early stage cataracts. During my annual eye exam I explained that I had been experiencing issues with my night vision, particularly after a long day. After completing my examination, Dr. Rama determined that my eyes were not focusing in unison and thus my eye muscles were straining to try to self correct. She suggested I try the new neurolens which she felt strongly would help to correct the problem. I was skeptical particularly since my insurance didn't cover the cost however, being an Eye Associate patient for 30 years, I trusted Dr. Rana, so I ordered my new glasses with the neurolens. Well it took about two weeks for my eyes to adjust to the new lens, but once they did, wow, what a difference! My night vision is improved and the issues I was having with glare from headlights, haloing and judging distance are a thing of the past. If you are looking for a knowledgeable ophthalmologist, then I strongly recommend Dr. Rana and Eye Associates in Columbia, Md. They are the best!!

The people who work behind the desk are impolite and rude. They also dont seem to care about your time. While I was waiting on glasses I witnessed them doing non-work related things while they had a customer on hold. The glasses specific associates are great and the doctor was fine. I personally will never go back though because I was so disappointed in the customer service and professionalism of the people upfront.

I've worn glasses since I was 8. I know a good optometrist when the service me as well as Eye Associates. Great glasses, tech service and WOW those neuro lenses were a game changer on my screen time ! I'm saying as always you get what you pay for! And this place is tops Thanks Rena, Mark and team. While we have been happy with everyone at Eye Associates, the optical team really went above and beyond for my son's glasses. The time they took to hand cut the neurolenses to fit my son's frames is much appreciated!

I just had my first virtual reality vision check up in addition to the regular one. A neurolens prescription was recommended to help with motion sickness (which I have suffered throughout my life). The results are in: yesterday with my new glasses, I was able to read while on a train for the first time ever!!! No motion sickness!!! Thank you Eye Associates!

I am a new patient because my doctor recently closed her practice. At the appointment I was impressed with the VR technology that was used to detect whether I was sensitive to certain disorders due to my vision. I was and informed about neurolens which I opted to include on the glasses that I use for office work (I bought 2 pairs). So far it has been great just 2 weeks in. I feel the improvement.

This review is way overdue... I have been a patient of Dr. Rana for over a year. She is such a pleasant and thorough doctor. I have been wearing soft contacts for years and was not getting the best vision from them. Dr. Rana did various tests and I was fitted for hard lenses. They were a little challenging at first because I was not used to them but my vision was the best it had been in years. I recommend Dr. Rana for your eyecare needs. She is a Wonderful doctor who listens and makes sure you get the best care for your eyes. The office is nice and comfortable and the staff are great as well.
