First of all, let me state that I have been coming to this office for years and have only had the most positive experiences;However, this time was different. Since my eye exam in November, I have been in 3 times to have either my prescription or measurements adjusted because I have not been able to wear the newest eyeglasses very long without feeling a sense of dizziness or unfocused vision, seeming to me as if the distance vision is unbalanced, despite the prescription. The receptionist and customer care providers attending to me were wonderful; professional and attentive each and every time, and for that I am grateful. Unfortunately, the Dr. did not even look my way, and spoke to the receptionist as if I were not even there, addressing her with statements that seemed like annoyance with me, statements like " I already changed her prescription to..., " , not even a "hello, I see that this still isn't working for you" or anything like that. Needless to say, I was very disappointed since I thought that I had a rapport with the doctor, and that she cared about supporting me with my vision health. Thank you to the team that did work hard to support me in this process. I look forward to picking up my eye glasses and I am hopeful that the 3rd time is a charm.

From start to finish, our visits were excellent. Miss Shelley at the front desk did our intake and initial exams with a smile and kindness, the eye exams were efficient, and Miss Syuzanna, who helped us with our glasses and check out was a joy to work with.

First time at this location. Shelley B., the front desk receptionist, did not have a very approachable, nor kind attitude. Did not seem like she wants to work here. Very condescending attitude.
The provider was okay, the exam felt a bit rushed. At least she was not as condescending (as the front desk receptionist was.)
I'll be going to a different location, hopefully to receive better customer service.

Dr. Shastri was very knowledgeable and straight to the point about my results. Syuzana was helpful with choosing the lenses for my glasses and showed zero pressure with the related options and protection plan. It was an all-around great experience.

I'm giving them two stars because the staff has always been wonderful- very helpful and friendly. However, Nicole Shastri, OD, was extremely rude and unprofessional when I arrived 10 min late to my appt due to unexpected traffic. I understood that there was a chance I would have to reschedule because I was late, but it could have at least been delivered in a professional manner! She was very short tempered and I heard her bark rudely at the receptionist- who then had to turn around and tell me that the Dr simply wouldn't see me, knowing I had witnessed the whole disrespectful exchange. We all have bad days, but we should be adult enough to maintain a basic level of professionalism at our workplace regardless. Despite the other lovely people who work at Pearle in the Columbia Mall, I will be taking my business elsewhere!
