They care more about sales rather than customers needs. Charge outrageous prices for contacts and likes to add additional fees to run up the bill beyond what your insurance covers without getting consent from the customer first. We have been to this office multiple times and each time felt like they, do everything they can to run up the bill. We will be finding a new eye doctor that doesn't screw their customers.

This is a new, updated review of MyEyeDr in Dunkirk, MD. I am leaving the old review up to show the remarkable improvement in service and for the fact that you can now get through to the receptionist if you are running a few minutes late. I do my best to arrive early to any appointment or obligation but sometimes God laughs at your plans. That's just life. I have nothing but excellent service since my first review. A complete 180 degree turn in being able to get through without having to use a computer or the website. The gentleman who does the fitting once you've made your decision does an excellent job. I was even able to get my glasses refitted after being worn loose in the hinges and they fit better than when I first purchased them. And I recommend coming IN to the establishment for any re-tightening of loose parts and bent frames. Best to let the professionals do that work in my experience and opinion. In fact I have a new pair of glasses waiting for me to pick them up. *OLD REVIEW.... I rushed in the door exactly 12 minutes late for my much needed eye appointment. I was coming from another doctor's office, where I waited patiently. I was hurrying to my eye doctor appointment and tried calling (hands free) to notify of my possible tardiness. I was met with a voice-mail that operates like a website. No way to directly call the office where you are scheduled and I gave 100 percent trying to notify the office. Upon arrival I was turned away and rescheduled for four weeks later. There was no line of waiting people. I found it plain rude and unprofessional of the you get lady working the front desk. You wondered at times if had a pulse. Will be looking for another eye doctor out of straight up principle. And for me to leave a review such as this is a rare feature. I don't think I've ever left a one star review. Ever.

Had an appointment and the one gentleman working said how much he disliked working with a bunch of women when I asked how he was doing after my appointment. He then proceeded to be very condescending when asking questions about my eye insurance benefits. I left enraged and rather defeated. I will be making a complainant to the corporate office because he was so out of line. Do not recommend going there if he continues to work there, the rest of the staff were phenomenal and it's sad they have to be around such a disturbing individual.

Doctor was great. The guy that I saw to pick up my glasses was rude as hell. I bought 2 pair, a clear lens and tinted lenses for my oakly sunglasses. The clear glasses I got can barely be used due to the glare they produce, no one explained "anti glare" to me.. and when i told him noone explained it to me he flat out told me I was a liar, and they always explain anti glare.. so basically, it just sucks to be me. I paid for these glasses I cant use, and he told me I should pay more attention next time when I order. For the oaklys.. i bought the frames on GovX and brought them in. They where my personally owned frames. He couldn't fit the lenses into my Oakley frames. I was holding the frames when he snatched my Oakley frames out of my hands and took them. Never gave me a choice. Told me it was oaklys fault. wouldn't let me even look at it and told me I'd break them if I tried to fit the lenses in it. It's going to take an additional 2 weeks to get my oakly lenses and frame back, and I only have these awful glare clear glasses to wear while I wait. This is the second time I've been there and the second time I've had a bad experience. Wasted money on a pair of clear glasses I'll never use, and that guy ruined my day being rude as hell, and confiscated my glasses right outta my dang hands. I could be wearing them rn without the prescription, but I gotta use a pair of crappy gas station glasses while I wait since he stole my nice ones. I'm waiting to get my frames back that he snatched from me and my lenses, then I'll never use this place again. It's a shame cuz there's nothing wrong with the doctor.

I wish the two ladies who worked here for years at the front desk still worked here. I went here a few months ago & because i didnt answer the call to "confirm" my appointment they canceled it without a care. I go in to my my SCHEDULED appointment after waiting months to get an appointment to two woman with an attitude & rudeness. Honestly the only reason i went here was cause my insurance paid for the glasses. I changed to America's Best & that was the best decision i ever made no long waiting list for an appointment & the people who work there arent rude.
