Highly recommend Maple Lawn Eye Care Center! The entire team was fantastic from start to finish. As a new eyeglass wearer, I had a lot of questions and concerns, and they took the time to address every single one with patience and care. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. I truly luv it and couldn't be happier with my visit!

my daughter was completely uncomfortable from the minute she walked in. the assistant who blows air into the eye was condescending. she has a masters degree and they treated her like a child. they try to push a lot of extra procedures when all she wanted was a new contact prescription. she declined eye detection, etc and they asked about it more than once. they used dilation as a punishment for her NOT paying for the extra procedures. "you are clearly not getting it". "You don't understand, you need to do this..." she will NOT be back. Avoid this place. The doctor was trying to do fear factor about glaucoma on a 23 year old~ Give us a break. It would be better for your business just to do a quality job and get repeat happy customers than try and manipulate to get an extra $100 test. Super lame.

I did an eye examination there. They just gave me a photo screen that is not covered by the insurance without asking me. There is no explanation about the process and necessity and price before I did it. I just realized it until I need to pay about 40 dollars for those.

Dr. Ely and the entire staff are absolutely outstanding. They are insanely helpful. They never do anything that you wouldn't want to do. They recommend based on what is needed for you. I have never had an issue with anybody there and are always willing to help on any problem that I may have, and always make the best possible suggestions for my situations. Everybody is patient and kind and willing to help, and make accommodations for you. Great people, outstanding staff. Wouldn't recommend any other eye doctor in the area, other than Dr. Ely.
