America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

** Misleading prices quote/info ** I was informed on the phone when calling several eye glass companies, to include America Best, that if I bought a second pair, I would receive 40% off second pair; therefore, when I chose America Best over others, it was due to the 40% off on second pair. However, after scheduling and having eye exam completed, was told the 40% was only for those using insurance (which seemed to be discriminating at best). This stipulation was NOT mentioned when I called to get price estimates when deciding among other options. Unfortunately, since we had already had exam, felt obligated to move forward, despite being able to get a better price elsewhere, since the 40% discount informed up front was not honored during purchase. I spoke/expressed concern with the "new" manager (apparently who moved from another store) said he had been there about 10 days, and they are trying to get everyone trained or something to that affect (to avoid giving out incorrect or not clarifying customer info), and apologized; however, did not offer the advertised 40% for 2nd pair or any less discount due to this internal communication error with new client. Therefore, I decided it was best to share this negative experience via a Google review to caution potential new customers that purchase America Best glasses. If you don't have insurance, you are discriminated against and NOT offered same discount of 40% to those insured. This can affect lower income clients that cannot afford vision insurance. I highly recommend considering other eye glass clinics/stores (Walmart, Sam's Club, others), if you don't have insurance, to avoid this discriminating factor (have insurance, receive 40% discount, don't have insurance no 40% discount). The one positive, the technician and optometrist were professional and kind. America Best leadership should allow their supervisors on site to have flexibility to work with clients when incorrect info was communicated to new client (even, compensating 10% versus 40%) as a gesture for lack of trained sales representatives that answer the phone. I will need to reconsider becoming a long term American Best client based on this experience. Recommend America Best, when it offers discounts, to NOT discriminate based on clients status (e.g. insured or uninsured). You would think America Best would prefer to provide discount to those less fortunate that do not have the luxury of vision insurance.

11/20 - well today I needed to switch out a pair of frames and Marissa assisted me. Let me tell you not only did she provide excellent customer service, she was extremely accommodating to assist me, warm hearted, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this location. Ref : the week of Nov 3-7: Wonderful experience. Katelynn (Front Desk) was very very personable, nice, friendly, and warm spirited. I am very pleased with the services I received.

I arrived here around 3:10pm March 4th 2026 Wednesday for a eye exam. Schedule my eye appointment for 4pm at 3:20pm. At 4:30pm I noticed 3 other people that came in after me getting called to take their exam while I still wasn't seen. I announced I've been waiting for over 30 minutes pass my schedule appointment. I was told by another employee that the scheduled my appointment for 4pm never check me in. I was then check in and then seen at 4:48pm. I did not finish my visit till after 6:25pm. Yeah I'm not coming back here. Write that lady up who forgot to check me in and then clock out without saying anything to make sure I would be seen. She had black hair, ponytail, and a black top. Everyone else was professional, kind and good work ethic.

My family's new go-to place. We went there last minute, without an appointment after my daughter broke her glasses and needed a new pair asap. The staff was very pleasant and accommodated by sitting us with the first available associate. Chirrell was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped make the visit there fun and pleasant for my young daughter.

Good evening, I would like to give accolades to store associate Ms. Chirrell she did a phenomenal job assisting me and my daughter with eye glassware selection. Ms. Chirrell was kind, attentive, patient and very funny. She is an amazing Associate, we appreciate her. We can't wait to see her again soon for our glasses pick up. Keep shining Ms. Chirrell!

Went for an appointment for contacts and glasses towards the end of October. The first time I went to collect my glasses after 2 weeks, I tried them on and could not see at all. I was later told that they had been made with the prescription for each lense placed in the incorrect lense (right eye in left lense and vice versa). I was told they needed to be remade and waited about 10 days for them to be remade. Upon my second attempt to collect, the glasses were made with the wrong prescription completely. I waited another 2 weeks and at this point is was getting towards the end of the year. Not to mention that the contacts I had been given to test out were not my prescription at all but a random pair of test contacts. Luckily, the manager decided to send me the correct contacts to my home address for free, but I didn't have a copy of my prescription so didn't know which eye was which. When I went foe my third attempt to pick up my glasses, I realized that the astigmatism correction was way too strong-- the doctor on site corrected this immediately and wrote for me a new prescription which I was thankful for. This brings us to the new year where I am finally picking my glasses up months later, and the blue light and anti refractory coating I feel are still causing my vision to be slightly distorted compared to the contacts (which I have finally tried on). At this point I am just picking them up regardless because coming here a 6th time for one prescription is just too much for me. Not sure I would recommend visiting this place if you value efficiency.

I had a great time in American Best today everyone was great even Mrs. Chirrell on 11/10/25 got me a a GREAT discount for two pair of glasses I will come back next year when it's time!!!!!!

After some initial trial lens order issues, Caitlin and Chirrell were AMAZING at resolving my issues and getting me exactly what I needed <3. They both were so gentle with me as a first time lens wearer. I thank them for making my experience so great!
