Every single staff member was incredibly polite and helpful. It was obvious that all staff members work extremely well together as a team. I am not a senior citizen but I loved seeing how helpful and kind they were to the older ones. This is a rare find nowadays in medical offices. Dr. Chun was very kind and informative. She answered all of my questions and some. 10/10 medical service is here!

The experience with Dr. McHale's office and with Dr. McHale himself, of course, was really impressive of let me give you an example during the holidays. They had sort of a flu outbreak in the staff and some people had to step up. One of them was the scheduler who was Trisha who stepped up and just did a spectacular job of finding all the details inserting it into the schedule, making sure I got it making sure everybody was on board right to the last second keeping me up-to-date. It was spectacular when I went for the first eye surgery, the team that handled me front and back was so professional, so friendly, so upbeat, so alert nonetheless that it was so completely reassuring. I had no doubts whatsoever that I was in the best hands. And that's how it turned out. Thank you all everybody at the eye Institute!

Medical and technical care is high quality. HOWEVER, the office is terrible at managing their scheduling and wait times. I had a 12:45 appointment. Sat in the first waiting area for 45 minutes, no one gave me any updates. Finally to the first exam room. Eye test done nicely. Then on to another half hour wait for the doctor. gain no one gave any updates. Lastly, I was there because I needed a vision exam to renew my driver's license. Thought it would save me going to MVA in person if they electronically submitted the exam results. They would not do so, Gave me a hard copy, which I CANNOT electronically submit myself. So the main purpose of my visit was for naught.

Today was my first visit and the customer service was amazing. The staff were nice, my wait time was not long. The tech explained everything to my step by step. My doctor had awesome bedside manner. I would recommend this facility to my family and friends.

The doctor was knowledgeable and addressed all my concerns pre and post surgery. Although, I can't say the same thing for the scheduling staff. My suggestion will be to be diligent and follow up with any scheduled prosedure.

The front desk staff was extremely pleasant as was the young ladies performing the prescreening. Dr. Chu's chair side manner was not warm and inviting. She appeared to be in a rush and was hesitant to throughly explain my condition. Not quite sure what the issue was but she seemed a little more compassionate the first time that I met her.
Moreover, I felt that she was extremely condescending and subtly a little rude. She became a little frustrated when I asked about side effects, what my actual condition is from a clinical perspective. It was like I was irritating her by asking about MY health. I also inquired about specifics regarding my prescription for glasses and she didn't disclose but stated that " it's on your prescription for the glasses"!! Is this how patients are being treated nowadays??? I left feeling really unheard and uncomfortable. She requested that I come back in three months but I don't feel comfortable seeing her again. She really acted in an unprofessional manner with microagressions.

Dr. Bellur did a quick and thorough job with my post surgery follow-up exam, and his cute Assistant did a great job with the pre exam prep. They even got me set up for a driver's license vision renewal.
Only drawback/reason it didn't get 5 stars was the announcement that Dr Bellur is leaving the practice soon.
