I went in for an eye test and to get glasses for reading. I asked for bifocals but after the person working on getting me lenses talked me into getting progressive glasses. I told her I had them before and they do not work for me. She said they would work best for me. About a week later my glasses came in and they were not correct. I told the person checking me out that my glasses were blurry My right eye was blurry, and the left eye was good. She said I would get used to it give it a few days. I told her it is way out of focus. Once again she said you need to get use to them. I went out to my car and pulled out a pamphlet I had to try and read it. I could not focus. The left eye was good, and the right was blurry. If I moved my eyes the left eye would get blurry and the right eye would come into focus. No matter what I did, I could not get both eyes in focus at the same time. I walked right back in and went to the person that gets your glasses and told her that I do not think these are my glasses I cannot get them to focus. She told me I should give it three days to see if they would work. She said the same thing the other person said. I said look through them and you will see what I am talking about. She would not and once again said you need to use them and get use to them. I should have known at that point they were not going to fix them. I went home and tried to use them every day and no matter what I did they would not work for me. I went back four days later and said they do not work and would like to get a refund. The only reason I wanted a refund is I told them when I got them, they are not correct and they would not even look at them they just kept saying I would get use to them. I tried to walk into the kitchen with the glasses on and lost my balance because of the way they made everything look like you were looking through a fisheye lens. When I told them I wanted a refund they said they do not give refunds just in store credit. These glasses cost $900. I think it was an upsell tactic and now even if I get the glasses, I originally wanted they will not correct the difference in cost. I think they knew these glasses would not work and sold them to me anyway. The only reason I am giving this review is I am sure this has happened to others and if it has please post a review to help others. You pay for your glasses before you get them so if they do not work, you are stuck with the cost you pay. This is a rip off so be aware before you put money out for your glasses. This will probably wind up in small claims court because I am not going to let this go. If they would have even showed a little concern or even looked at the glasses when I told them they were not correct I would not be as upset but, they would not even look at them when I said they were not correct. They had no interest in helping resolve this problem.

Dr. Jones is a wonderful person. Its the front desk receptionist, she is the reason I'll be finding another eye doctor. She's the older dark haired woman. She was very rude to me today, which I enformed Dr. Jones about and he just shrugged it off. As I was waiting to get taken back she was rude to the next lady trying to pay. She basically told me to get out for not having my mask up to my eyeballs. This woman has NO business working as a front desk associate or even with the general public!

I asked to have a simple eye exam and order glasses as covered by my insurance. Without my knowledge of what exactly they were doing, I was charged for other tests that were not covered by my insurance. They are packed full of hidden fees. That on top of the rude receptionist has lead me to search elsewhere for my vision needs.

Had an apt scheduled for 2:50 still wasn't seen 3:30 rolls around still had not been seen I had to leave due to other things planned. If you enjoy waiting 30 or more minutes on a scheduled appointment this is the place for you . If not I'd recommend go else where.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Jones and his staff. Dr. Jones was patient and thorough while making sure I received ths right prescription for my eyes. Would recommend them to anyone with no hesitation.

Dr Jim Jones is no short of the Optic King!! Guaranteed after one visit you will realize that you have never Had better vision in years. We travel over two hours to go to see him and he is worth every mile of it. You will not be disappointed.
