Walmart Vision & Glasses

So last October my husband had to have a triple bypass, well he had appt to get new glasses, I had to cancel his appointment due to the fact he was in the hospital having surgery. Now Walmart Vision Center won't reschedule his appointment. He spends more then $500 more on his glass. Now how can the store manager let this happen. I wonder where their heart is. Sure not having the consideration that a person had to have a triple bypass. And being in the hospital for a while. Walmart vision center is a bad business.

I had an appointment at 1pm, I live almost an hour away, from the Walmart in Oakland. The Walmart in Lavale is book until December and my glasses have been broke (unusable) for two months. I am pretty much blind without corrected vision, that is why I made the appointment in Oakland because I needed glasses. I have been using just my contacts for the two months without my glasses. Well on the way I was held up in road work three times so I was late. However, I called them to let them know, I was running late but was on the way, that I live an hour away, and have been caught in road work. I arrived 13 minutes late, and they would not keep my appointment. I would have understood if they would have been busy, however, they was not busy, they only had one customer in there being waited on, counting me would have been two. I just felt like they (she)were inconsiderate of my circumstances, and did not want to do their job. Not to mention I can not see without corrected vision. They last time I had an appointment there my appointment was at 2 pm. They didn't take me back to be seen until almost 2:30 pm, that made them almost 30 minutes late but that was okay that they are late.

I sad when it takes 2 1/2 hrs to be seen by a virtual dr ,its like your time to the vision center doesn't matter would not recommend using walmart for vision !

Staff and doctors are very helpful and always friendly. Lost my contact. Stopped in to order new ones and they gave me a contact till my new ones arrived. My husband had trouble with his new glasses ( needed adjusting) they helped him till they were perfect. Very pleased with the care I receive from them.

The Walmart vision center was a quick and friendly place. Dr. Hughes was wonderful... Fast, smart, thorough, kind, considerate, professional.. A true joy. I had a great experience. They have to order my contacts, so a little inconvenience there.. & there was a little trouble with the checkout process.. But otherwise, the staff and service was wonderful!

Don't worry about being early or even on time to your appointment they will make you wait 45-1 hour even if early. They need to come off a few bucks and hire an actual eye doctor. I've come here for my entire life and it's gone downhill big time in the past few years

I've been going to this Eye Center for years, and I've never had any issues. All of the staff seem very knowledgeable and are super friendly!

The doctor would not give contacts to my son when we had exhausted other options for sports safety. Really disappointed with our appointment.
