I've been going to Bernard Shear for decades. Having a small/narrow face, it's one of the very few places I can actually walk away with stylish, adult frames that fit rather than be limited by children's frames. Amanda, one of the opticians, is always pleasant, patient and knowledgeable! She's such an asset! And Dr. Shear gets huge brownie points for successfully fitting me in computer glasses! I can finally see well with a single pair of glasses whereas before I was putting readers over my prescription glasses. My eyes are challenging, and she worked very hard to produce the correct prescription. She took her time examining me and even had me return a second time to utilize more data she asked me to pay attention to about my work environment. I purchased an expensive pair of glasses roughly a month ago. A few days later I had to return for an additional fitting and to take care of an issue with the pads that rest on the sides of your nose. I ran into another problem today and went back to the shop. I was given several choices which included trying to repair them again, replace or give me a refund. After giving it some thought I chose the refund which they immediately issued and could not have been any nicer or accommodating. I highly recommend.
