Extremely Disappointed!!! My wife and I have frequented this establishment for over 10yrs. so it was very surprising to receive the treatment as mentioned. I made an appointment for my daughter to get a replacement pair of glasses previously purchased from Optical Center. When we went there they took her prescription and walked her to the back. When they were done they tried to charge me for an eye exam ($40)that she was not scheduled to receive. To make a long story short, their receptionist recorded the reason for visit and lied about not knowing. The Owner, Sandy, called me with a terrible attitude and told me she would lose $40 due to an exam that should not have been scheduled. I explained to her after being talked over constantly, that this was a mistake on her receptionist part, so I should not be held accountable. She ignored my comments and recorded in their records that we cannot receive service unless the $40 exam fee is paid. There are about literally (10) opticians within a (2) mile radius of Pikesville alone. People frequent optical center b/c they are cheap and convenient, however, they have treated my family and I very poorly and we will not be going there again.

These guys are fantastic! I have been there three times now. Twice ti get new frames for a set of old lenses, and once for an exam, lens and frames. the entire staff is great, prices are very very good. Has always been a great experience.

First of all, this place has a horrible selection of glasses. All of those glasses & never anything good. I appreciate them having COVID changes that make it healthy for people but if they're going to have rules they need to make them clear when people come in rather than interrupting them every 5 minutes while they're looking for glasses not to do something. They made me feel uncomfortable as hell like looking for glasses isn't already uncomfortable enough & usually I don't feel like that in there. I wasn't going to disrespect an elder, but they need another person in the front communicating with customers. I'll just got to the Liberty rd location for all that.

Great selection of frames but you can't always get what you want. I like my glasses to fit a certain way. Not loose on my face. I'm always told they will move. Yeah but they shouldn't come off of my face and I shouldn't have to keep pus gn ing them up and I shouldn't have to keep getting them adjusted. Very frustrating but the glasses are so reasonable. I recommend getting glasses here but maybe not adjustments if you are picky like me.

I've gotten glasses frames here for years. The staff are courteous and professional. In addition to carrying the latest designer frames, they have an excellent selection of bargain frames in a wide variety of styles - my general hunting ground.

Wonderful selection of stylish discounted $25 frames They also have higher end if you just like to spend more money I came out with several pairs of (readers, regular, and some for later) :) Great Customer Service too! Only downfall is that they do not participate in VSP but you can always pay and request reimbursement from VSP later. Can't beat anywhere!

I currently live out of state but recently had an eye exam at this location. I called back to get my prescription (as I've misplaced the one given on the day of the exam) only to find that the only way they can send the prescription is by fax. Wishing their system was more up to date with secure messaging (or something along those lines). Now I have to pay for an entirely new exam.

It's not just the frames when you buy glasses. You want your prescription done right. They are much better than Charm City Optical. Service was great. Price was right.
