I've been a patient here since the early 2000s, and overall I really like this practice. The staff are mostly friendly and welcoming, the office is spacious and well-maintained, and the equipment is modern.
The reason I didn't give five stars is that the wait times can sometimes be quite long. In addition, there's no Wi-Fi available, and my phone reception in the office isn't great, which makes waiting a bit inconvenient.

Dr Johnson was very confident, kind, and thorough to sure my eyes are okay. I've been having a hard time and now I have to see a cardiologist at 26 y/o, but Dr Johnson didn't dismiss me or ask any invasive questions about my mental health since I see a therapist. I've worked in a doctor office and I'm confident that Dr Johnson reflects how great this practice is.

My spouse see Dr. Coung Vu. He is an excellent retina specialist. Highly recommend him. His medical staff are very efficient.
The reason for the 3 stars is because wait time at the Rockville location was horrible.
It has been several visits that after checking in, the patient waited for at least one hour and more for the preprimary tests. The test took less than 10 minutes. From there on waiting to see Dr Vu was a minimum wait.
She would spend about 10 to 15 minutes with Dr Vu for her treatment. He is highly skilled, and is very efficient.

My appointment was at 1:30PM and I finally saw the doctor at 2:45 PM (this does not include the 10 minuteas I spent at home pre-checking in).
It seems to me they over schedule at the patient's expense as if our time is not valuable.

The doctors are great but customer service is lacking. The surgical scheduler is completely unresponsive. It took weeks for her to call me to schedule surgery and then she did not respond to follow up voicemails.

Remarkable care by Dr. Johnson. He is always kind, patient and thorough. Dr. Johnson answers questions and spends as much time as needed. Patients get the absolute best care by Dr. Johnson. There might be a wait in the office - but that's what happens when doctors are dealing with emergencies. If someone has an eye emergency, then that person must be seen ahead of those waiting. The office staff have been professional. I highly recommend this practice.

Today was my first visit to RGW, and to start off, the front desk staff are so courteous and so professional. The tech who took my history and tested and dilated my eyes was also very professional. The star however, was Dr. Wang! He took the time to explain everything to me and alleviated all of my anxiety. He talked me through each part of my examination, even asking if I needed a break. Dr. Wang for the win!
