America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Let me preface by saying yes I am upset. I went there over 3 weeks ago to get my eyes examined and get glassess, I provided them with my old glassess to compare the prescription did my test and paid my fees. 2 week later I was contacted and told my glassess was ready. After wearing it for a day I realized something was different, I figured it was because they were new why I couldnt read my phone but I could see far. After a couple of days I could not take it anymore I returned and informed them everything went smoothly I was told it may be how the lens was cut. I did a retest and the took back the glassess. Today 2/19/26 i got a text message my glassess was read and went it it was the same thing with the glassess so I turned back and informed them. I spoke with a very professional and lovely lady named Tamia who figured out what was wrong with the glassess she informed the manager who gave her name only as Tee and thats where everything went upside down. She came over told me to put on the glassess used an iPad took at picture and was working on the computer. Up to this point she hasn't apologized for me coming there now twice for this glassess she just told me to pay over $300 when I asked why she abruptly said because its an upcharge to additional being done to the glassess I think its the reading section of the glassess. I asked why im paying when I brought my glassess and they did not do it right. She proceeded to tell me she dont know who I spoke with but thats what it is. Now being a manager I would have figured out who my customer dealt with and got to the bottom of it instead she was just abrupt and rude. She then changed the cost again to the $200 then $188 because she kept on discovering new things in the system. When I protested she again abruptly said do you want em to.just give you a refund then? I didnt ask her for a refund she was just disrespectful and abrupt. This company is where I get all my glassess but thats it I will take my business elsewhere it was just distasteful TAMIA well done you handled everything professionally and courteous. Tee needs to go work in a wharehouse

Everyone in the America's Best was extremely helpful and pleasant. From the pre-screen to helping me pick out glasses especially being my first time going through this process. Definitely will be going back again.

Had a great visit today from the time I walked in till the time I left. Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. And I cant say enough good things about Dr Marhja!

My appointment was set the day before I arrived to my appointment 20 minutes early, I waited and as I was waiting the 2 ladies in the main lobby did not check me in properly. One of them had an attitude she had a short blonde hair cut. The store was hot as well 100 degrees outside and they had no air. I don't recommend this location. The doctor was nice she made my experience better

Came here with my family for eye tests. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We did tests and then met with the Dr for final tests and to discuss results. Recommended in the Timonium area.

I stopped in America's best I live out of state. My glasses broke. Tara was so helpful. Took 10 minutes. I have great glasses now I can see thank you, Tara.

Wonderful service. Clear explanation of the details involving Eyewear features. TIARA was great! A wonderful asset to this store.

Awful customer service!!! The young lady that help us at the front desk was amazing ! She did the eye test and she was so nice and friendly . After that we had to pick a 2 pair of glasses and talk to another lady . Idk her name but it was like she was making me a favor that she helped me with her disgusting attitude! Everything was done I paid and I was like it's okay it was not that bad of experience. When we were leaving she said the glasses will be delivered is 7 business days . I called after 8 business days and I stayed on hold for 15 min and their answer was I didn't understand them right it will be 10 business days. 10 business days pass and no call again . I called back and the same lady with the long Rasta hair answer the phone she was rude like I own her money and she said one pair arrived . I picked up and the one pair and waited another 2 weeks for the 2nd pair . I called back again and they lied on the phone again and said they don't have it and it will hear tomorrow with the 2nd pair they only have one in the store now . I told her I have the one pair I can come pick up the 2nd one she said oh okay idk to who you talk earlier but it was not my fault that it was late . Awful customer service from the lady with Rasta hair!!! She doesn't want to work and she make you feel like you own her money . Very disappointed I will never use you again guys!
