Dr. Howard Hartz

Dr Hartz has been consistent and done excellent work for me over the years. I have confidence in his counsel, he is very thorough in exams, and very knowledgeable. He has kept me from making rash decisions (cataract surgery when not needed) and updated my glasses as I age so I am in good hands. It is also convenient having the For Eyes team there to provide my new glasses after the exam, they are very good and the selection of frames reasonable. I don't often have such great experiences with health care providers so do want all to know what a wonderful care giver Dr Hartz is.

Probably the most grumpiest/irritated doctor I have seen in my life. Went to him last year and it was no different than our most recent visit. My husband ended up booking an appointment for his eye exam 2 weeks before his next annual visit was eligible. We only found out about this once the doctor said we should have known when our last visit was and that we wasted his 30 mins slot time. What is the point of keeping our information in their database if they can't keep track of our last visit instead of us trying to remember something from a year ago. Hey, atleast he probably got another 30 mins to enjoy his lunch.

Have been a patient for many years for glasses & contacts. Can't imagine there is a more professional or nicer Dr anywhere. Every person I have referred to him has stayed as his patient
