Howard I Savage M.D. | Kaiser Permanente

As a Kaiser physician, I essentially had the choice of quite a few ophthalmologists to see, when I suspected I had developed cataracts in both my eyes. I chose to see Dr. Savage based on reviews from my colleagues, who think very highly of him indeed, and on his interactions with patients I had referred to him for eye problems. Those patients included other doctors. Dr. Savage operated on both of my eyes, one month apart. The results have been splendid- my vision is restored to a level of excellence I have not enjoyed for years. The entire experience has been uniformly terrific. The eye surgery team at Kaiser Permanente Kensington is absolutely first-rate: very caring, very professional, and very efficient. The fact that I am a physician did not make me any less nervous about having TWO eye surgeries. But having Howard Savage as my surgeon, I knew I was in good hands. I am very happy with the results, and with his treatment of me.
