I've been a patient of Dr. Motamedi for some time now, and I was thrilled when he introduced a new technology for dry eye treatment at his office. I've now completed all four sessions, and I'm happy to say I've started seeing noticeable improvements. Dr. Shahab Motamedi is nothing short of amazing! I was born with a condition called albinism, which has profoundly affected my eyesight and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. Dr. Motamendi gave me my vision back. I've been realizing that my vision has been getting drastically worse since 2020 after the birth of my first child, it got progressively worse in 2022 and I just figured it was due to pregnancy.. I went to multiple eye doctors sometime 2 times a year for an upgraded prescription. Nothing ever worked and my vision was never corrected, I just managed with the prescriptions I was given and when I told them that I could not see well, I would be told "just give your eyes time to adjust". It got so bad that I could not longer read labels or novels, driving became scary and I could not be outside once sunlight is gone. Being in my late 20s, I knew this was not normal and the astigmatism that I was told is the reason for my non-corrected vision was not sufficient. Fast forward to a few months ago, I find Dr. Motamendi's office after searching online. Spoke to him and explained my problems to him, he has wonderful bedside manners and truly loves his job. He told me that I had a condition know as "Keratoconus", my concerned was thinning and has been untreated for a long time. My left eye was far worse, which I knew because I couldn't even read street signs or see faces clearly anymore. He fitted me for sclera lenses and it was so emotional for me. I saw life with such clarity at that moment that it made me realize that I never truly was able to see clearly. To say that my quality of life has increased is an understatement. I was so upset that non of the many eye doctors that I saw was able to pin point my condition all these years, I have been wearing glasses since I was in the 6th grade. I'm truly happy that I found him. If you are having any of the signs that I was experiencing, please do yourself a favor and see him.

Dr Motamedi gave me my right eye vision back! I used to wear glasses since I was 10 and my right eye sight was distorted as far back as I can remember no matter if I had glasses on or not. No doctor or specialist could improve my vision. At my first visit, Dr Motamedi said he can treat my eye! He put scleral lenses in my eyes and all in sudden I could see 20/25 with my right eye! This is after over decades of living with very poor vision. He is very kind and patient and takes his time to listen and answer to all my questions. I owe my eye sight to him and you owe it to yourself to pay him a visit for an eye exam.

Dr. Motamedi is AWESOME!!! He did for me what ophthalmologists couldn't even do; he gave me my sight back! I had scratches on both corneas, a nodule on my left cornea, and super dry eyes. He healed my scratches and gave me scleral contact lenses, which gave me 20/25 in the left eye and 20/20 in the right, and also took care of my dry eyes! I no longer have to use drops, or glasses! He's very concerned about his patients, and gives you all the time you need to ask questions and get answers. He's very professional and very kind and caring. He called me to see how I was doing with my lenses, and was as excited as I was about getting my vision back! Miracles do still happen! I highly, highly recommend you go see Dr. Motamedi. Dr. Shahab Motamedi is the best optometrist I have ever been to. He was able to tell me I had an astigmatism unlike my previous eye doctor who wasn't nearly as helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Shahab Motamedi for all your eye care needs!
