I had an appointment and the young lady Jordan that was helping was super nice and tentative. When I met with Dr. Ho she was also super nice and tentative. She took the time to help me understand what was going on and explained my poor eye health as well as very patiently explain the process to me. I also disclosed that I will be losing my insurance as well, and she assured me that she will assist with whatever help I need as well as refer me to get assistance. These people dont have to help us they have a business to run but the Doctor obviously takes her position in health care seriously and finances wasnt even her concern it was my eye health! Great people at this location. They made me feel like i don't ever want to go anywhere else.
By far the worst place to come. The doctors are great. The front staff needs training. I was attempting to scheduled an appointment for a lens fitting. Mind you I did not need an exam. But lens fitting isn't an option on the appointment scheduler. Found out $100 later you can't schedule that online. My insurance allows $60 for a contact fitting. This company charges $145 for the service. You don't find that info out until they have done everything and surprise you with a bill for $102.00.
So I go in for my follow up lens sitting. My prescription is the same in both eyes. I ask will my insurance allotment cover for a box so I can try them out. The consultant tells me the price for a year supply. At this point I'm done with this place. I left. Definitely will not come here again.
James is the gold standard of outstanding customer service! I dread getting new glasses because I am not good at picking out eyeglass frames that look good on me. James was so patient with me, he picked out several eyeglass frames that he thought were becoming of me. He has excellent taste! He picked out eyeglass frames that were perfect for me! I am getting so many compliments on my new eyeglasses! James made a dreadful process an easy and pleasant experience for me. I so appreciate all of his help and patience. I am also very pleased with the quality of the lenses and eyeglass frames from My Eye Dr. This is my second go around with the My Eye Dr in Waldorf and I will be back again! Thank you James!
Visited MyEyeDr today at Waldorf and service was exceedingly excellent. Staff was very professional and helpful. Had the pleasure of being served by Devon who was very helpful. We considered him one of the best at the office, exhibited a pleasant personality and treated us like we were not just another customer but made us feel valued. Great representative for MyEyeDr.
Drove an hour an a half for an emergency visit. Told them there was a wreck but I will try my best to make it. They said there was a 10 minute grace period. My appt. was at 10:20 got there at 10:30 and they said the doctor wouldn't see me. All I needed was a quick look at my eye to make sure nothing was damaged from an injury I had. The one front desk girl with dark brown hair had a snarky and rude attitude the entire time - I hope she gets fired because that is no way to treat patients. I would never recommend this office to anyone as they have made it obvious they are not patient oriented. There is a reason they are rated 3.7/5.0 as my time of writing this. Don't waste your time on this place like I did.
Dr. Megzebu, James and the entire team were exceptional! I highly recommend this office and this team! Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I have been a patient here for at least 10 years. They were experts in eye care and glasses. Excellent in eye health, they took the time to explain your medical concerns as they relate to your eyes. There glasses were of high quality, with the glass makers on site. Not so much today.
I walked up to the desk, to return my glasses, which were scratch up in the first three weeks. The ladies at the desk, were so busy looking a computer screens and on the phone, they ignored my 6 foot statue for 5 mins, until i had to "insert" myself INTO their busy work. I explained to them that my right lens was all scratched up. One lady said go speak to "name". I said, whose that? then they pointed over to a gentleman sitting with a laptop. He was great, he listened to my concerns, and entered the data to replace my lens. Its funny how, we as customers are considered a "bother" when we walk in. Guess the ladies up front wasn't taught customer service, and the importance of greeting and addressing customers who walk in.
Then I called the office two days before my lens, is due in. Just to ask, it they had arrived to the site for pick up. I was told my "expected" date. Again, they rep on the phone did not address my question, by acknowledging my question. It was more important to her to tell me my "expected" date. No confidence in super exceeding expectation of your glass builder. Can you at least go check? Asking too much I guess.
Last straw, while waiting for my lens to arrive the opposite lens is now scratched up. I have glasses from this office 4-7 years old with NO SCRATCHES. Whoever making their glasses now is awful, cheaply made, thin, no protective covering. Although they keep telling me "You have ALL the protection".
Do yourself a favor, get you glasses made yourself over seize. or from another company. I have pairs from Asia that have out performed this office EASY.
Now lets see, the office manger, encourage me to come pick up these cheaply made lens as a solution. or blame me for the care of my glasses.
June 13th update still NO GLASSES
So I go to pickup my glasses, after calling today to confirm that my glasses are ready for pickup. And receiving a text a few days ago to "pickup" my glasses.
Get to the office on my lunch break, and NO GLASSES the glasses were sent back. Because it took too long for me to get here and pick them up. I received the text June 5 today is June 13. This place continues on disappoint . I paid 400 dollars for an exam and glasses that I do not have.

I love my two new pairs of glasses! I wan to thank everyone at MyEyeDr for their assistance especially James who made the process seamlessly.
