Dr. Whitten replaced the lenses in both my eyes in December. I am a musician, and since my eye surgery, I have not needed glasses to play piano or organ for the first time since my college days! I'm 83 now, so I am living proof that it's never too late. Dr. Whitten is a fabulous surgeon and a wonderful man. I highly recommend him and his team to anyone needing anything to do with your eyes!

Dr Whitten and his staff are second to none. They are all so friendly and truly care about your well being. When I had a question on a medication I was to be taking, I was told I'd get a call back. They actually called back the same day and explained what I should be doing. Other Dr offices never call back. I would refer Dr Whitten & his office to anyone who has eye problems. True professionals.

I visited Dr. Whitten at his Charlotte Hall office some years ago for cataract surgery on my left eye. Recently with concerns in my right eye I returned and was met with the same warm and inviting atmosphere. Dr. Whitten is a wonderful doctor brimming with knowledge. He calmed my nerves and was quick to diagnose my issue, referring me to the proper specialist. I know if I ever need his expertise again there's no other option for me.

We trust Dr. Whitten for our care so much. My husband saw him in 1994-1995 (?) before they had laser/Lasiks at his Bethesda office. He has since moved but we followed him. Myself and both our adult kids have been treated by Dr. Whitten. As long as he is available we would not see anyone else. He is so knowledgeable on all possible procedures available to help us become free of glasses. All of our cases were different and Dr. Whitten had the best treatment option for all four of us. We travel long distances to see him for our care, after he left our county. The staff at all facilities are friendly and helpful. And especially Beyla(excuse spelling (?)). she is the best!
