The sevices me and my wife have recieved are very professional and handled competently. I have NEVER received a call back from office staff for things including when my order has been recieved or requests for paid invoices for payments so that I can receive reimbursement from my insurance company.
If it wasn't for Dr. Niro and the way he provides competent and professional care we would've left to find an optometrist who not only provides excellant care, but also one that COMMUNICATES with their patients.

My daughter and I have both gotten eye exams and glasses here this year. I was really impressed with Dr. Niro and his associate (I apologize that I didn't catch his name). Service felt thorough and professional. The optical department was also extremely helpful, and the glasses have come in faster than we were told every time.

I have been a patient of Dr Niro for probably 20+ years & he is great. I have ordered countless contact lenses & glasses through his practice.
This past April I ordered new lenses for my glasses. It has been NINE weeks for lenses that were supposed to take 2 weeks. I have called countless times & the person in charge of that has NOT ONCE called me back when he said he would (David). I am beyond frustrated!!! I wouldn't have ordered these if I didn't need them & even with insurance they were over $500. I'm ready to call the BBB & Solve it 7.

I loved Niro Eye Care for decades. Not anymore. Most of the excellent staff has changed since AEG Vision has been involved. They are gone as is the pleasant, professional & caring atmosphere. I picked up my new glasses recently & the tech didn't even ask to see them on me. How did she know if they fit? She went off to the back room to do I don't know what and proceeded to get my eye glass requirements wrong. She was not professional in appearance or demeanor. I was taken aback by this interaction as well as the similarly unprofessional person at the front desk. What has happened to the office where I had felt privileged to be a patient. Now I am looking for a new practice.

How I wished Dr. Chia and I lived in the same state.
I know under her care, I am in amazing hands and that if there was anything she would recommend to me, she would also do herself for sure.
I went for a consult with Dr. Chia at her old clinic and she was very insightful and thorough with my check up. Gave me a lot of good advice as I was contemplating my next steps. She also saw my husband who did surgery way before but ended up with chronic dry eye. She gave us some really good advice and also recommended different eye drops that were healthier for the eyes as opposed to what we were using.
If I could, I would follow Dr. Chia anywhere she goes as I trust her to provide the upmost care for me and my eyes. One of the reasons why I haven't pulled the trigger yet, despite my husband recommending I should over and over again, is because Dr. Chia is in another state and if I was going to do surgery, I would prefer to be in her care.

I really liked Dr Niro - he seemed above average for professionalism and knowledge to me. I also really like the staff. However, I was not so happy with the folks who work the optical department. They've made 4 pairs of glasses for me - and I have not been happy with a single selection. I know, I know, I was there and actually made the choices - but little things here and there - where I relied on their advice - meant none of these glasses were good for me in the long run. They never quite had a frame I liked - it was always something that was a small compromise. But I've had good luck with opticians sometimes in the past - and have gotten glasses I liked far more than I thought I would. So, to sum up, Dr Niro is great - I wouldn't go anywhere else. But for the actual glasses, I won't use their optical department again. That didn't work out for me.

The one star is only because of Dr. Niro otherwise I would have given ZERO stars to this office especially to the new doctor Dr. Lin Chia. This office used to have a much better Dr. but she left the facility last year and the new doctor is horrible and very impatient in answering the questions. After 11 year of going into this office, we moved all the family members to other provider in the area. We would love to see Dr. Niro but cannot get his appointment easily.
