My appt. With Dr Delugan was excellent. It was the best eye exam I have ever had. Dr Delugan was extremely thorough and explained in detail everything he was doing and why. Could not have been more patient and kinder. Highly recommend his office and expertise.

Dr. Delugan has been my doctor for about 30 years. His examinations are always complete. He is most professional and cordial.

If you like to be treated with respect and professionalism, DO NOT go to this office. Last year, I had a fiasco with my contact lenses where the girl at the front desk had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. I was extremely nice, tried explaining the situation but was still met with extreme attitude. She finally realized she was wrong and apologized. Against my better judgement, I let it go and stayed with them. Recently, I called to reschedule my appointment and when I got to the office, the unprofessionalism was almost immediate. Both girls just looked at me until I finally said I was there for an appointment. No "can I help you" or anything. The other woman just shook her head no multiple times and the younger girl, Jasmine, said I didn't have an appointment. I said I called the week before and had a lengthy conversation with someone to which Jasmine was extremely rude and said "honey (not in a nice way but rather with an extreme attitude), no you don't. I don't know what to tell you." I was clearly taken aback at both the fact that I didn't have an appointment and how rude they were and I said I knew the girl on the phone didn't seem to know what she was doing. She then looked at the other woman and said "You take her. You can deal with her." I was extremely offended and beside myself at this point. I couldn't believe what I was dealing with. They blamed it completely on me, had zero interest in getting to the bottom of what happened or resolving the issue and asked right away if I received a confirmation email or text. I told them I don't always pay attention to those (honestly, if a practice is run only on those confirmations, they should tell their patients that). They were nasty saying I've responded to them in the past, I was a no show blah blah blah and finally offered me an appointment a few days later. I had already missed work to come there and I said no since I highly doubted I would be back. I asked them to have Dr. Delugan call me as I have been a patient of his for a long time and I left. THE WORST PART, Dr. Tchao called me almost immediately. She apparently heard some of it yet decided not to intervene and waited until I left to lecture me. She was calling to tell me MY behavior would not be tolerated and said I was loud. She seems to forget that she has these big plastic COVID barriers so one has to speak up. That said, I was far from screaming or yelling. I asked why she was calling me as I had asked for Dr. Delugan to call me. She said "I OWN THIS PRACTICE NOW. I EMPLOY DR. DELUGAN"...no joke, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I said I didn't care who she is and I had simply asked for Dr. Delugan to call me since he is who I have had a relationship with. I said it is absolutely absurd that she was not calling to make things right or to apologize for her staff, and that this wasn't the first issue I've had with them. She said she basically didn't care about the other time, continued to try to lecture me and I finally said screw you and hung up the phone. Unfortunately, it seems as though Dr. Delugan entrusted his practice with someone who focuses more on power than being an optometrist.

I've been coming to this practice for about 5 years and have been seeing Dr. Tchao the entire time. She's pleasant and professional, and her team is really helpful with selecting new glasses. Thanks for the great service!

Love Dr. Delugan- very happy I followed him to his Braintree office. He is absolutely worth the extra 20 minutes from Marshfield. Thorough exams and huge choices of frames.

The office is clean and the staff is pleasant and very helpful. Dr. DeLugan gave a very thorough exam. He took his time and explained anything that needed explaining. Optical shop had a great selection of glasses and it was easy to select. I purchased 3 pairs. I highly recommend.

Dr. Tchao is thoroughly, knowledgable and friendly. I had a great experience at Blue Hills Eye Assoc. The front desk was also very welcoming.
