Got my glasses here after 5 years since getting my last pair, doing all this eye doctor and insurance business on my own for the first time. One of the employees, Lucas, was very wonderful at helping me find frames that matched what I was looking for, even though it was kind of an odd request. (I wanted clear frames that were giving "2010s scene boy", which was a silly request to begin with.)
The girl with long hair Italia helped give some good advice as well, which was great because I have no idea what I'm doing. I managed to find a pair that didn't make me look stupid, but instead cool and swag.
It didn't end up being as expensive as I expected, and I was able to get some helpful add-ons.
I had a wonderful experience with Jennifer. She greeted me as soon as I walked into the store and made me feel welcome right away. As I was looking at glasses, she came over and offered thoughtful, helpful advice that made the process much easier. She also checked me out and took the time to explain everything clearly. On top of the great service, the store itself is absolutely gorgeous, even while still in the middle of remodeling.
Absolutely terrible experience at LensCrafters. I went in with two issues - blurry lenses on the bottom half and frames that were widening - and the guy helping me was one of the rudest, most arrogant employees I've ever dealt with. Instead of listening, he argued with me about everything, acted annoyed, smirked when I explained my vision problems, and tried to blame ME for their mistakes. He told me they "can't keep ordering lenses" even though the lenses were clearly wrong, and then pushed me to buy new frames because he claimed my lenses somehow made the frames wider... complete nonsense. He even tried to tell me that I'm supposed to keep my head perfectly straight at all times and not look down when reading... which is ridiculous. Any time I pointed out something obvious, he had another excuse ready.
Zero professionalism, zero respect, zero willingness to help.
If this is how they treat customers who paid for premium glasses, I'm done with this place. Avoid this location unless you want to be argued with, dismissed, and blamed for THEIR mistakes.
This past weekend, I had a horrible customer service experience at the Lens Crafters' store Dedham, MA when store rep Ada mishandled & broke the arm of a brand-new pair of frames, did a shoddy repair job with glue then told me to "never come back again"-one of my worst customer experiences ever.
I filled out a customer care form and just a day later got a call from Jennifer, who is the Assistant Manager at Lens Crafters store in the South Shore Plaza Mall in Braintree. She listened to my grievance with care & concern and apologized for the frustration and damage. While the model I wanted was not available at Lens Crafters' Braintree, MA location, Jennifer invited me in to select a new comparable one at no cost. Jennifer warmly welcomed me at the store, assessed the damaged glasses and asked thoughtful questions to understand my preferences, and showed me several models that were a great fit for my tastes.
Because of a Cyber Monday sale that was running at Lens Crafters, I was able to not only get replacement frames but also a pair of sunglasses whose combined value were equal to the cost of the new frames I originally had. Jennifer is highly knowledgeable & personable and provided all-around amazing customer service. And the Braintree store is a newly renovated space that's beautiful with a vast array of frames & sunglasses to choose from. Me and my family will definitely be coming to Jennifer and her supportive team in Braintree for all of our eyeglass needs in the future. Thank you!
Absolutely unacceptable quality and customer service.
I purchased frameless glasses from LensCrafters in October and treated them with extreme care. In under three months, the lens cracked exactly where the arm attaches -- a textbook failure point that strongly indicates defective materials or poor workmanship.
LensCrafters reviewed photos and still refused to replace them, claiming the glasses were "out of warranty." Let that sink in: a premium eyewear product fails in under 90 days and they wash their hands of it.
Their idea of "customer care" was to offer a $100 credit toward buying another pair from them. I declined. I will never shop at LensCrafters again.
This company does not stand behind its products, and Luxottica's dominance of the eyewear market makes this behavior even more disturbing. Buyer beware -- once they have your money, you are on your own.
A wide selection of frames to choose from and excellent customer service. I received my new glasses within a week, they fit perfectly, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!
Jen from the Braintree LensCrafters was great! I've been going to LensCrafters for decades - and the service and guidance I received on this recent visit was the best yet!
LensCrafters is lucky to have Jen in their employ!
Amazing experience at Lensecrafters with Italia! The process was fun, exciting and quick. She also helped me make the right choice when it came to the protection plan which added peace of mind also.
