I got my Charmant Titanium glasses from the Optical Store here around 2022. One day, while crossing Route 9 to catch a bus at the Museum of Fine Arts, my glasses somehow slipped out of my backpack. When I realized they were missing, I retraced my steps and found them lying on the road. The case was completely flattened beyond my recognition, but to my surprise, the lenses and frame were not broken. I managed to reassemble them myself. Curious to see if the lenses could be fitted into a new frame, I brought them back to the Optical Store. The lady there took it as a fun challenge and skillfully repaired the original frame. I was deeply grateful for her kindness and expertise. That experience convinced me to return to the store for future eye exams and new glasses. I also want to give credit to Charmant Titanium frames--they're incredibly durable. Despite being run over by multiple cars, they survived with barely a scratch!

Been going to Mass eye for years. I see Dr Kim or Dr Yi. Both are phenomenal and very kind but also great surgeons as well. Not big talkers but great at what they do. Reception is nice and check in can be done by scanning qr code with cell phone. Bookings are done many months out.

I called in to make an appointment to see The doctor I've been seeing for problems with my eyes which has been an ongoing problem and they told me i'm not allowed to go there that I was dismissed from their practice. I asked why they told me because I was raising my voice last time I called and they said they told me that they dismissed me then which they didn't tell me that if so I wouldn't have called for an appointment .They dismissed me out of their practice due to a situation about eyeglasses really they didn't do them right three times and I wanted my money back and I went somewhere else to get my prescription filled Which the other place I went to fill them correctly.I guess you're not supposed to get upset or raise your voice but they can to you. I'm having major problems That their doctor was taken care of now to get into another eye. Doctor as soon as possible is impossible all I can say they were rude and treating me like a child I've never heard of an OphthalmologistTell you that You're dismissed from their practice.So my recommendation is if you go there or if you are thinking of going there, I wouldn't waste my time because if they mess up on one thing and you call them out on it they're going to dismiss you from their practice. They also will dismiss you from their practice if you don't make the payment if you miss an appointment . When they dismiss a disabled person with eye problems that is unprofessional. And why would you want to go to A place like that So it makes you think what type of practice they are. They has no compassion and could care less about disabled or any People with medical problems. they only care about themselves and if they get their money, that's why they call it a practice

This may be the worst place to go to get your eyes taken care of. This is a place where if you miss an appointment you will be charged some ridiculous fee. If you refuse to pay it they will refuse service. I cannot stress how much you should find another place to go for your eye needs. Charging for missed appointments is absolutely ludicrous. And just because you notify people doesn't make the fee any less obnoxious. Where's my fee when you have me waiting over an hour past my appointment time

Horrible. Cancelled last minute.Rescheduled for the June 30. My insurance was switching on July 1, so still had original insurance AND Mass Health, both they took as forms of insurance. Receptionist thought it WAS July 1 not June 30 and I had to tell her the correct date. When it was confirmed that yes BOTH insurances were active they then said the primary care doctor was listed wrong on one and they had to cancel as I stood at the counter. Again took a day off for NOTHING. So I asked to bill the other insurance which they refused to do and wanted me to pay out of pocket! When I have TWO insurances! Left angry and repulsed by the lack of knowledge, intellect and manners of the receptionist. Called both insurances from the car and BOTH insurances said they each would have paid the bill in full and that the wrong doctor listed did not matter, and tried calling the receptionist for me but after six attempts no one still picked up! So unprofessional. Two people from the waiting room leaving the building hugged me saying how horribly I was treated. Made two official complaints versus the office. Cannot believe ANYONE would put up with this. Lexington Eye Associates fit me in last minute and it was easy peasy and magnificent. No trouble at all with insurance billing there. And the receptionist was professional, friendly AND polite. Highly recommend them over the buffoons at Massachusetts Eye Associates.

I was very hesitant on posting this review but I do feel that my first experience at this location needs to be heard. I do not want other people in my position to experience what I had experienced. I was very torn after the appointment. I was treated so poorly by a technician with white blonde hair who looked to be in her 60s. I was assisting my grandmother who was disabled and she had no patience for us. She made me feel so dumb and embarrassed throughout the entire appointment and I wasn't able to translate for my grandmother properly because of how passive aggressive she was. Mind you this was our first time here and we were only here for a routine check up. I wish I could go into detail about what exactly happened on this review but google does not allow to go pass a certain amount of characters. I did speak with the office manager and tried to get the name of the technician but they couldn't share that information but I really hope disciplinary action was taken after how she treated us. I can't sit in silence and let this not be shared incase it happens to someone like me in my position. If you are having a bad day, please do not take it out on patients that had nothing to do with your bad day. If you are in a field that deals with helping people everyday, you should know how to be able to cope with your feelings rather than taking it out on patients that are seeking medical assistance.

Horrible patient service wasn't able to set up an appointment because I'm not a priority. What type of practice says this to it's patients

Appointments were timed well, I hardly had a wait. Dr Kong was helpful, professional and friendly. Check out was easy, too. Had a good visit all around. I recommend this office for eye care. The office does have a lot of patients, so be prepared to make your appointment well in advance of when you think you will need it.
