Chicopee Eyecare- Amanda Baltazar Sezer, O.D., Bobbie Jo Casey, O.D.

I wanted to take time to write a review about Chicopee Eyecare! I had such a great first experience here as a new patient. I called to make an initial visit and they had a cancellation that day and I was able to be seen! The receptionist on the phone was super pleasant ( I think it was Penny I'm not positive) and when I walked in to check in, I was greeted by kind smiles! Dr Baltazar was so thorough and kind, she's a very gentle person it seems. And i really appreciated her presence with me while doing my exam. It was a detailed eye exam and I so much appreciated that! I also have to mention how absolutely amazing Joanna was to me. She was the tech/assistant and that office is absolutely so very lucky to have her. She's caring and compassionate and very patient. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She even called me to follow up a few days later as I was confused about how my prescription was written and she wanted to make sure I didn't need any help. I cannot say enough great things about her! I definitely recommend this office

I was able to get an appointment rather quickly. When i got there it was minimal wait time to be seen. The exam was very thorough. I did not feel rushed as i have at previous Doctor's offices. The Doctor was very pleasant and professional. I than went to te optician. She was helpful and funny. I loved how everyone in the office worked as a happy team.

This is the best and most trustworthy eye care practice! I reluctantly switched to another eye care provider when I used to work in CT and needed somewhere close to go on lunch breaks, and again recently because I found one that accepted my insurance, but never again! I will stay at Chicopee Eyecare because they are the only ones I trust, even if it means paying out of pocket. The doctors I've seen here are amazing, answer all my questions, and I never feel rushed. I most recently spoke to Omiada at the front desk who was SO amazingly helpful and understanding. They are so lucky to have her. Honestly the whole staff is great. This place is the best eye care place around and I highly recommend this place if you want kind, courteous, prompt, professional, and a trustworthy experience.

As a longtime patient of Dr Momnie ( the best) I stopped to make an appointment, The receptionist told me 6 months to get an appointment. ( pretty ridiculous I think) . I asked her if she would put me on a cancellation list as I am usually pretty available. I waited 6 months did not hear from them. There was not a cancellation in 6 months? My 6 month appointment came I was ill and I had to cancel. They gave me a rescheduled appointment for 6 more months and could not be on Thursday as there are no providers on staff. Good luck!! I will be rescheduling elsewhere. Dave will you please come out of retirement!!

We've been longtime patients who stuck with the practice through the transition in practitioners and possibly even love the new providers even more than the previous whom we also adored. My 10 yo frequently ends up with things in his eye or scratches on his eye, they always get him in quickly so he doesn't have to suffer. Yesterday we saw Dr Casey, and she was just phenomenal with him. As a therapist, I so often find myself working with young adults who have anxiety around communicating their needs with doctors, and if doctors when we were kids spoke to kids and explained everything to them the way Dr. Casey did yesterday, I think we would see a whole lot less young adults with this sort of anxiety. She explained everything that she was going to do, asked him for the detailed history of what was going on with his eye, and gave him the treatment options to choose from. To see that level of care and pediatric competence from a family practice is just unheard of. Dr. Casey, I hope you know you're helping with more than just vision with the way you practice! Thank you!

Customer service was awesome and the Doctor was outstanding, who goes beyond what they get paid to do. I would recommend everyone to Dr. Sezer. I also forgot my glasses and they continued to remind me which they didn't have to. Thank you Doctor Sezer

The doctors and staff at Chicopee Eyecare Center provide the best eye care. They are very kind, respectful and caring. I feel welcomed and well taken care of after each visit. I highly recommend the Chicopee Eyecare Center to anyone interested in receiving quality eye care in Western Massachusetts!
