Great people, my family has been coming to Lenny and his family back in Boston. Thanks for all the great years of service. The prices are great. All questions are answered. Great location and by a free public parking lot. Remember to always support local businesses first.

Gopen has the selection, convenience and expertise you are looking for and need. More importantly, you get to deal with Lennie who just makes the entire experience much more fun than you could imagine or hope for. And he knows everything you need him to know and more, including which frames will look fabulous on your face! I can't really remember the lucky day I was introduced to Gopen, but it was around 25 years ago. I will never go to anywhere else and neither should you!

Great service, they are masters of their craft there from generation to generation. The owner looks at you and knows what frame can suit you well. Their prices are also very affordable. This is the only place to purchase glasses in Massachusetts that I can give the perfect score.

I cannot say enough good things about them. Great customer service, very knowledge and reasonable prices. My whole family of 4 got our prescription glasses there and will go back again and again. It was my son's first pair of glasses and we got to the store a half hour before closing. Lenny stayed open later just to finish the prescription for my son to ensure he did not go home empty-handed.

Finally found my go to place! Over the years I have been to lens crafters, For Eyes, a local place in West Roxbury, and Costco of course. By far, this is the best choice. They know what they are doing, prices are the best, even lower than what I paid at Costco. Next time I will not waste my time shopping around, and will go directly to this local gem for exam and glasses. It's a pleasure to deal with knowledgeable, fast, and efficient people. We get our glasses from Gopen Optical and we are extremely pleased with the service. Lenny is an amazing, kind, and knowledgable optician. I have never met any other optician that had his depth of understanding about optical issues. When we go there, we save time and get great glasses at a reasonable price, because Lenny has an extraordinary talent for picking out the most flattering frames. My daughters and I have tried on lots of pairs of glasses in his shop but always go with the ones he showed us in the first two minutes, sometimes in the first 30 seconds. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars, I would!
