My new eye place! Appointment was easy to get. I like the option of booking online. The front desk staff were great (and funny!) Doctor was very thorough & most importantly, she was a great listener & understanding of my eye condition & how it is negatively impacting my quality of life. I left with a new plan of care & I am hopeful my eye condition will resolve!

I had an outstanding experience at Lickteig Family Eyecare during my recent eye exam. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff made me feel welcome with their friendly greeting, efficient check-in process, and clear communication. The technicians were equally impressive--knowledgeable, patient, and thorough as they walked me through each preliminary test and ensured I was comfortable throughout. The doctor provided an exceptional level of care, taking time to explain every step of the exam, discuss my results in detail, and answer all of my questions without rushing. Their professionalism and genuine concern for my eye health were evident from start to finish. Overall, the entire team at Lickteig Family Eyecare delivers a seamless, high-quality experience. I left feeling confident, informed, and very well cared for. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking comprehensive and compassionate eyecare.

Appointment time 11:40am. I arrived and was seated by 11:38am. Was not seen by a staff member until approximately 12:05pm; the Optometrist until over an hour in waiting. Concluded my routine appointment at 1:06pm, and will need to return for a trial pair of contacts. Parking was very challenging and very few spots available. The retail store patrons compete for the same space. At the conclusion of my appointment, I was incorrectly billed and only my medical insurance plan was applied to the bill. At the time of my registration, both health insurance and vision insurance cards were uploaded (front and back). Upon my checkout, I inquired about the bill and was told by a team member that all of my services were considered "cosmetic" and were not covered. Knowing that this was incorrect and realizing that I had to depart to attend other obligations for my day, I furnished payment for the invoice I was provided. I later contacted my insurance providers, who informed me that I should have not been charged for any services included on the invoice, as they are fully covered by my vision insurance. I do hope that any future visits are not similar.

Fantastic experience from my first phone call to my visit for a full evaluation and treatment, everyone was very thorough and things were explained in detail along the way. I work in the medical field and the doctor along with the assistants and front desk staff were beyond helpful and nice! It was actually a pleasure to be a patient there!

What a wonderful practice. Friendly, patient focused and willing to address your concerns and questions even if marginally related to your visit. Equipment and examinations are above standard of care. They are co-located with lens crafters giving you the best of both worlds. Personalized eye care with a hearty supply chain next door of the latest frames. Plus your not pressured to buy like the all-in-one stores even though technically it feels that way when you walk in.

I had my first appointment today and saw Dr. Ben Lickteig. I feel like I really lucked out choosing to make an appointment here and it will definitely be "my place" going forward. Everyone who I interacted with was happy and friendly. Dr. Lickteig spent time with me explaining the issues I was experiencing. He was really friendly, warm and it did not feel rushed at all. Based on this experience I highly recommend this practice.

From start to finish, my experience was excellent. Everyone was friendly and professional, my appointment ran right on time, and the doctor took the time to explain everything clearly. I left feeling informed and confident in my care.
