Dostal Eyecare

Dr. Budri is an absolute one-of-a-kind doctor. Along with being super intelligent and experienced, she is super kind and cares a lot about the quality of life for her patients along with their health. She's always taking the time to get to know her patients and to make sure that they receive as comprehensive care as possible. I've known Dr. Budri for years now and there's nothing she can't fix. She's the best of the best and I wouldn't trust any other Optometrist more.

I felt, and believe, that the care was good, maybe excellent, it's hard to know. I liked Dr Kani Brown, and would return to him next time. the total time spent there was longer than I expected (or remember from previous visits). 2 hours, more or less. Not sure why... The office is considerably larger than last time, and busier, and I was moved around from room to room (to do different tests)... Sometimes with a waiting period between rooms. Overall I WAS PLEASED. When I receive my new glasses in a few weeks I expect I'll be happy with them.

Office is state of the art, clean and everyone is very friendly. Dr.Brown is excellent, clearly passionate about what he does, very thorough and listens well to concerns. Explains the condition and underlining cause. As a dry eye specialist he is intersted in finding the root of the problem and devising a treatment plan to help eleviate the problem. Highly recommend.

I called the week before over the phone made an appointment gave her my birthday. They said my insurance was active and I had an appointment for 915, I showed up on time. I gave the woman my name and immediately she said are you sure you're in the right place? I said yes I've been here once before it's been a few years. I gave her my birthday again plus my first name and last name. She looked at me, laughed and said I must be in the wrong place. I said, where is the entrance for the eye doctor and they jokingly pointed to Vally Medical Center. Thankfully, I happened to drive by one of the optometrists in the parking lot who explained to me this was the place. Ended up they had the wrong last name. They had my maiden name from 10 years ago, although that shouldn't have been a problem because they had my birthday, FIRST name and insurance card.. I have no idea why she was so snooty and rude! The whole interaction was unnecessary on her part! I had a wonderful visit with the Dr. Brown , but a different medical assistant (who barely spoke to me) then put the virtual gear on my head wicked tight and they slammed my bag in the chair as I was sitting there. My visit with Dr. Brown was successful and I felt happy, but I didn't have a good experience otherwise. I took pictures of my face. The gear was so tight on my head.

This place and all the people there are as goods as it gets. Competent, kind, genuine, and also really good with eyes, which is a serious plus for an eye doctor. Dr Kani Brown as absolutely brilliant in all the ways. I wish all my providers, and experiences with them, were more like were like when I see Dr Brown at Dostal Eye care. It was also a nice addition that the space was beautiful and thoughtful. Exam rooms were comfortable and pleasant to be in. They have all the latest technology which is always a good sign that they are invested in the future. I dont give away reviews like this lightly. They earned it. You're really good at your jobs, guys.

Very impressive set up. Their office is modern and spacious. The check-in staff are courteous. The technician who started the exam, was friendly and reassuring. Their testing equipment is impressive and state of the art. They tell you at each stage of the eye exam what they are doing and why, and answer questions in an easy to understand way. The doctor was genuinely interested in me and enquired about my overall health. At the end of the exam he linked all the data they have gathered and discussed what steps I might need to take in order to maintain and improve my vision, in a relaxed and friendly way.

Always a great experience with Dostal Eyecare! Dr. Dostal and his team take really take the time to figure out what is best for you and your eyes. I really appreciate not feeling "rushed" through the process.

Dr. Brown is excellent! He explains things very clearly and takes the time to address any concerns. I felt listened to and reassured throughout my visit. Highly recommend!
