BJ's Optical

I was not made aware this appointment would be telehealth. It was okay visit, there were a few technical issues. They were resolved in a timely manner. Caught off guard by the check in process, it was very cold and impersonal. And a few minutes late. The optical shop manager was personable and offer recommendations. I assume the other person there was a technician, did not introduce herself and just jumped right. On two occasions I could not hear or understand the person on the screen, I asked the person in the room "what did they say?" And " would have them adjust their monitor?" The person in the room told me "ask them yourself?" It was an odd encounter. It served its purpose in a short amount of time. My grandsons exam seemed to be thorough and we received a RX. I did not plan to order glasses from BJs because it felt so odd. However, the optical shop manager's engagement with me and my grandson changed my mind. I did order from BJs. It's not that it was a bad experience, it was just odd. The person who interacted most with my grandson seemed to be knowledgeable in what she was doing, she lacked personality. Or maybe those are her guidelines. Would I recommend to others, probably as an afterthought.

This was the second time I've taken my glasses prescription to BJ's,and I've been very impressed with the care they've taken in helping me select frames, as well as helping me when it turned out that the refraction done at an optical center wasn't correct. They remade my glasses, at no additional cost, after I got a revised prescription. I think their frame selection, their prices, and the employees are excellent!

Not thrilled. No real doctor in room during examine, just remote. Totally missed a condition i needed surgery for.

That was BY FAR the best eye exam ever!!! Maria was very personable, and professional. The technology was very impressive. This will be my go to for an eye exam from now on. The gentleman who assisted with me in finding the perfect glasses, was very patient, and didn't rush me. He was very personable, and professional as well.

Very happy, Eric knows his stuff. Pleasant, easy to work with. Like the glasses. Mark takes much longer to deal with. He also is very hesitant to give out cleaning materials.

Carmen (receptionist, optical assistant, tech wizard) was so knowledgeable and helpful! For the wide variety of tasks she is expected to do in her job, she is personable and kind throughout the process. I felt immediately comfortable and she was so accommodating with the restrictions of my recent knee surgery. Thank you, Carmen, for making the eye appointment smooth!

Horrible. I went in to get 2 pair and both were wrong. I was incorrectly measured for progressives and the lenses was too high in the frames. I was remeasured and the new pair was also wrong. Couldn't see out of the glasses. Mgr said no returns. refunds 3-4 times, problem with your doctor & eye exam & my eyes.Went back to Dr. for another exam and it was the glasses made wrong. My glasses were incorrectly made twice and I was told it was "a problem with my eyes". Two months going back and forth including being told to come on Thursdays after 1:00 finally got my refund. I complained to BJs corporate Customer Service.
