Days before my college-aged kid was scheduled to move to Spain for a semester abroad, he woke up with a huge chalazion on his lid. We tried hot compresses and... nothing. No Ophthalmologist would see a new patient in that time frame. Enter Dr. Strecker -- "bring him in!" A cortisone shot later, a flight the next day... and better a week or so later away from home.

I had my both my eyes done with Dr. Richard streacker omg he's the best !!!!! I now have 2025 vision in both my eyes he's incredible the recovery. The surgery was very easy. He's very polite understanding he explains everything he was very good to me in the operating room. His staff is amazing and Betsy and Cheryl carbonating and very kind to me specially with my eye drops I can't say Anything, but it was a five star experience from beginning to the end I highly recommend Dr. Richard. I brought my mother to see Dr Strecker for a checkup and mentioned an issue I was having with one eye. He took the time to see me (even though I did not have an appointment myself), and spent quite a bit of time examining me. It turns out he discovered a potentially serious problem with my retina. When I followed up with a retina specialist I was told that I was lucky to have seen Dr Strecker, since my issue was very difficult to detect and diagnose.
