I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. I visited this office for the first time in July for a routine eye exam for glasses and contacts. Unfortunately, I had multiple issues from the start. The front desk staff member I interacted with was consistently rude and unhelpful, which made an already frustrating situation worse. My biggest concern, however, was that my glasses prescription was incorrect not once, not twice, but several times. Over the course of multiple months, I returned repeatedly trying to get it corrected. Eventually, I attempted to schedule an appointment with another doctor simply to get a second opinion. That appointment was cancelled by the front desk, who stated I was only allowed one exam per year. I tried to explain that I was seeking help due to ongoing prescription issues, but I was cut off and told it was cancelled, followed by "anything else?" As a result, I now have a brand new pair of glasses that I cannot wear because they actually blur my vision when reading, something I never experienced before. I've had to go back to my old, broken glasses just to see comfortably. I've since transferred care to Mass Eye Associates in Chelmsford, where the doctor has been professional, thorough, and extremely helpful in finally getting me a correct lens prescription. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

I love the doctors and the front desk workers. But, the front desk manager need some people skills. Talk to her coworkers and client really rude. Like dude its really not that serious. She act like she working for nasa. Really up tight. It must be tuff working under her. Dr k and sikalis are the best! Also the ladies up front. Im not the only one. Check the photo I uploaded.

Dr. Christopher Karalekas is amazing. He takes the time to teach you while caring for you at the same time. Such a pleasant guy to be around. My two lil boys see him as well. Took a lil to get me booked due to the pandemic. It was worth the wait. The screening before meeting the doctor was a smooth process. Place is clean and is always packed but plenty of staffs. Their frame options was alright. I do. It believe there was much to choose from for women if Childrens at all

This location deserves 5 stars, the doctors are excellent and also the other staff except the accounting and billing especially the person who talks on the call. At first, the person doesn't stop talking it seems they are hurry in ending the call. But, when a patient talk over her then she gets upset and finally disconnects even without listening the full complaint. Unfortunately, I was under a similar situation 3 years back and haven't submitted any review at that time. But this being a repeated incident, I thought to share my review. Hopefully, this center would have a better customer friendly staff.

Dr. Karalekas is awesome! He conducts thorough and high-quality eye exams without rushing through appointments. His genuine concern for your eye health is evident, ensuring that you receive detailed answers to any questions, making it a natural, comfortable, and informative experience. Dr. K's commitment to personalized care makes this practice highly recommended!

Actual service and doctors are usually great but I've never had my appointment cancelled because I didn't confirm on the text. Wasn't me calling for the appointment enough? Now this is like dating in 2025, I have to confirm via text as well?!

I had an appointment at 1 pm and they tell you come 15 minutes early. I always have over a half hour to see the doctor. mind you I tell them to bill my insurance for contacts because I don't want glasses and they did vise verersa and refused to give me my contact prescription and give me glasses instead when I clearly stated I did not want that. this place doesn't listen to there patients at all. also I had over an hour and fifteen minutes without what i stated what i was wanting the appointment for at the office and had to leave right away due to the run around from them.

I had the BEST experience at Advanced Eye Care with Dr. Karalekas! I was in need of an immediate appointment, and found this practice on the VSP website under their premier office listings. The staff was extremely professional and helpful, and booked a same-day appointment for my emergency. Dr. Karalekas was kind, empathetic, and had a wonderful manner with me as a patient. He addressed all my concerns and was able to refer me to a specialist (also the same day!) for a second opinion on my issue. The staff at Advanced Eye Care Associates was wonderful and I'll be switching my routine wellness visits to this office. I was so pleased and happy to have found this practice on a quick search, and am looking forward to receiving my regular care here. Thank you again from a very satisfied NEW patient!!!
