Dr. Robert M. Condon I Optometry

Not sure how anyone could give this doctor a good review. I feel bad because he was nice but he needs to retire. Everything about him and his practice says ancient, drab, dirty, dusty, etc., etc., etc... He has barely no equipment that operates properly or is usable. He had me hold cue cards and very old magnifying glasses to check my eyesight. I was scared to touch the stuff because of all the dirt and cobwebs hanging off everything. He doesn't believe in diabetic care of the eyes and doesn't feel it's necessary. I told him about me seeing spots in my eyes all the time and he just blew that off. Not sure why the women who work there aren't speaking up. They may just be there to collect a paycheck and not care about patient safety. His idea of a contact lens exam was to bring him an old box that contained contacts at some point. He would use the prescription off the box and get me free trials from the company. I told him my box was about 4 yrs old and he said that didn't matter. I asked him for a complete contact exam and he doesn't do anything remotely near what other providers do. No eye measuring, etc... just order from any old box. I mean the service provided by him just kept declining throughout my visit! It was terrible. For those of you that only get one free eye exam a year from your insurance please do not use your benefit here!!! You'll end up having to pay elsewhere.

He is a nice man, but I think it's time for him to retire. He never examined my eyes, just had me hold up lens to my eyes to see which one is better. This went on for over an hour. This was not a comprehensive exam. There was no assessment of visual acuity and refraction and no mention of performing eye dilation and screening for eye conditions and diseases.

I just had my eyes examined with dr. Condon for the first time. I give this a 5 star because, i was very pleased with the service ,the staff was very helpful In helping me choose a frame for my new glasses. I like that hes has 40 plus years of experience. And he has all the tools he needs, and more. I'm oldschool so I like your small neighborhood dr.s. I would totally recommend this place if anyone asks me .thankyou I have a new optometrist

The worst eye Dr I ever been to in my 51 years . I think it's time for him to retire. He talking in Alzheimer's language. He wrote me an eye prescription that did not work for me at all. Then when I go back he says practice. Practice I can't see with these glasses no practice needed. I didn't have an attitude and he says I'm getting from you is that you don't understand. No hes not hearing me YOU GAVE ME THE WRONG PERSCTITION!!!!!he's horrible

I have been very fortunate to have Dr. Condon as my eye doctor for more than 45 years. He is intelligent, conscientious and unflappable. Once I had a frightening experience of becoming temporarily blind in one eye. Dr. Condon calmly explained what was happening, told me what to expect and, most importantly, how to stop it from happening again. He is a wealth of knowledge!

I came here to see if I could get a pair of sunglasses repaired due to a missing screw that has been tough to find. The women at the front desk were so kind to help find a solution and within a few minutes had me on my way and refused to charge me! I just wanted to come on here to say thanks so much for such friendly and neighborly service. I would highly recommend this business just based on this brief experience. You guys are awesome!
