I went to Reading Eye Associates for my entire life from my early childhood to mid-20's, seeing the same doctor every time. When my new insurance didn't cover a simple procedure to correct ingrown eyelashes, instead of helping to find a new practice this doctor suggested that I 'find a friend that I trust with scissors'. This was a Reading Eye Associates suggestion: that I have an another untrained college student put scissors in my eye to perform a medical procedure. Please use caution when taking their advice.

Even though I did not purchase the glasses there (it was an online purchase), Robert Colombo was more than accommodating and not only did he do a great job fitting the frames to my face, he didn't charge me.
