Yoon Sunny OD

I made my appointment. It was a couple weeks out. I left work early and showed up to my appointment. I get paid hourly. I was told that there was a family emergency with the optometrist and that they tried to call me. They asked for my name and date of birth which uncovered that my appointment was never put in the system. So if there was no family emergency, I still would have left work early for no reason. The receptionist offered to reschedule my appointment. A couple weeks out of course because a mistake on their part is not the business's problem. Instead, it is the customer's consequence to bear. The optometry might be great. I can't speak on that. The administration however, is nothing short of horrendous.

Dr. Yoon Sunny is an incredible eye doctor. She is efficient, thoughtful and clearly communicates what's going on within the eye. I have been so immensely impressed with her approach to connecting me with the right contacts, which is a different, and better approach then any other doctor I've ever visited in the past 20 years. She corrected my astigmatism to the point that I don't need to wear glasses over my contacts, and with an 8+, and 6.5+ I had been told in the past, that it wasn't possible. I have been recommending her to family and friends since my first appointment.

Year after year after year, we have had our annual eye examinations by Dr. Sunny Yoon. She is the best! No more dilation with the miserable after-effect of ultra sensitivity to light and not being able to drive yourself home! Doctor Yoon has the up-to-date digital retinal system and you can see a digital photo of your retinas on the screen as Dr. Yoon examines them. It's awesome! She is warm and personable and totally professional. We are so pleased with our resulting prescriptions that enable us to see so well! We recommend her to all!

Been going there for years, something has changed. Last regular visit was told I needed a new prescription, ordered the glasses. New glasses gave me headaches for two weeks as I tried to "adjust" finally went back and found out it was an incorrect prescription. Had glasses made to the "correct " prescription at over $600 which were the same as my old ones.

This has got to be the world's worst optometrist. After consecutive years seeing Dr. Yoon, I find that my prescription tends to get WORSE, not better. Yes, eyesight changes, but it has never changed so rapidly in the course of a year as Dr. Yoon suggests. The biggest problem is that she spends as little time as possible with the patient. Her chief goal is to maximize profit, so that may come in the form of trying to lull you into getting more expensive contact lenses, or it may be that the prescription isn't correct, which forces you to see her more frequently than one would ordinarily. She doesn't like having to give the patient trial lenses (that we know they get for free through companies). The only bright spot is that her assistant is nice. I'd rather pay twice the price and go somewhere else! #neveragain

Dr. Yoon always does a fantastic job when I go for my annual eye exam. Very professional, and answers all my questions. Has state of the art equipment. Been going to Banneville for more than 10 years. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Helped us with a walk-in urgent matter, very very friendly. They were actively seeking out other eye doctors in case she couldn't see us!
