The doctor was very nice but to have to wait 4 weeks to get a pair of glasses Is way to long especially when the website states 14 days max.
I called and left a message for them to cancel my order cause I can't 4 weeks and its bad enough I just lost my job because I can't drive without glasses due to it being a restriction on my license.
I will let everyone I speak with that pearle vision is not the place to go to and they dont care about leaving the patient without glasses it seems due to the fact they want to tell their patients it's going to take 4 weeks and because of this this patient is now without a job cause I need them to drive
I also would like to state that the front end staff are very unprofessional too.
Dr. Joe was absolutely wonderful with my nervous 5 year old. The rest of the staff was so patient with her as well. Highly recommend!!!
Doctors were cool but the admin was horrible, wouldn't provide me my daughters contact prescription because she couldnt get them in during the $225.00 training class. Was told it's the law that the training class has to be completed. I'll never go back here and I'd suggest to anyone looking to get contacts or glasses to go anywhere else.
I had an exceptional experience at Pearle Vision Eye Center! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. Dr. Tarantino was thorough and took the time to answer all my questions, ensuring I understood my options. The office is modern and well-equipped, making the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. I left with a great pair of glasses and confidence in my eye health. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking quality eye care!
My eye glass frames broke at work today. I have always struggled with picking out frames and for this reason, it has been almost 20years since I upgraded my frames. I left work early and drove to Pearle Vision with taped frames. I entered the store panicked to find a replacement pair in hopes to leave with them today. My anxiety was at an all time high. I was short on time before heading to my next two jobs today. Jen helped me tremendously. She was able to point me in the right direction for updated styles that fit my face and would hold my thick lenses appropriately. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Extremely happy with the service I received from start to finish. I left with a beautiful pair of glasses and got the gift of vision back! 10/10
Dr. Tarantino is, without a doubt, the best optometrist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing! I have been a patient of his for over 10 years, and I can confidently say that he is truly one of a kind. His expertise, kindness, and genuine care for his patients make every visit an absolute pleasure.
Not only does he take the time to thoroughly examine and explain everything, but he also makes the entire experience enjoyable. My entire family looks forward to our eye appointments because Dr. Tarantino doesn't just check your vision--he brightens your day! His warm personality, sense of humor, and dedication to his patients set him apart from anyone else in the field.
If you are looking for an optometrist who is knowledgeable, professional, and has a heart of gold, look no further than Dr. Tarantino. We are beyond grateful for the outstanding care he has provided us over the years. He is truly the best!
I can't comment on the doctor's services because I never got past the receptionist. While filling out the patient paperwork, I had questions about insurance billing due to previous issues with incorrect claims at other offices, which had cost me money. I wanted to ensure this wouldn't happen again. However, when I tried to discuss my concerns with the receptionist, she dismissed my questions without listening and responded in a condescending manner. She even interrupted me before I could finish explaining my concerns and had a generally supercilious attitude. As a result, we left without seeing the doctor.
I just started wearing glasses about 6 months before my most recent visit (10/31/2024) where I was going in for a yearly eye exam. The eye exam went well but after I finished my exam I asked if there was any trick to keeping my glasses on my face when I looked down. The glasses I have are Oakley Bat Flips. They said there wasn't much they could do but they could try something. They put them in some heat machine that allowed them to tighten the frame and arms for me. Great the frames are more snug and are not falling off my face.
However, after cleaning the finger prints and oil off, it was clear that the heat machine ruined my lenses. Even the employee looked at the lenses and said she sees the waves and blur and that there is no way I can use those. OK, not a big deal, mistakes happen. They will just replace the lenses they ruined right? Nope. They want me to pay for the new lenses.
The manager left early that day (Thursday) so she couldn't talk to me but I was told she will call me the next day (Friday). Today is Friday and I have not heard anything so I called at 4pm to find out what can be done. Again the manager left early and no one called me. I was also told the manager is not in on weekends.
I am new to glasses so I am still leaning the "rules" when getting glasses employees to help you with your glasses. For example, these glasses I did not buy through Pearle Vision, at the start of this experience I did not know they aren't supposed to do anything to glasses that you don't buy there. Through the entire incident no one even asked me if I bought them there or not. I thought they worked with glasses and would know what can and can't be done. It wasn't until after the damage they asked if I bought them there then told me that since I didn't they won't do anything about it.
I like the doctor, I want to keep going to this location, but if they won't fix there mistake, I can't see myself staying with them.
