I am 16 years old this year, almost 17. When I was 10, a vision screening at school revealed that I was developing nearsightedness, so I had to wear glasses. When I was 12, I began treatment at Dr. Xu's clinic and started wearing orthokeratology (OK) lenses. Now I'm about to graduate high school, and my vision has maintained stable and clear, having never had to wear glasses since. Dr. Xu has been an incredible doctor, maintaining skill and professionalism during every visit.

We are all patients at this clinic. I get my glasses here,and Dr. Xu's excellent skills make me feel very reassured. Every pair of glasses I get here is very comfortable to wear. My children's orthokeratology lenses are also from this clinic. So far, both of my children, who are about to graduate from high school, have hardly experienced any progression in their myopia. I'm very grateful to Dr. Xu and this clinic.

I have been a customer of HB eye care for six years now, I am nearsighted with a 4.0 diopter, I used to have heavy glasses on all the time, and it was hard playing lacrosse, but after I met Doctor Xu, she suggested me to switch to Ortho-K contact lens. Now, I can see very clearly during the daytime without having my heavy glasses on. The new office is much larger than the old one, and the environment is great. Keep up the good work!

Our family went to HB Eye Care for Dr. Xu. She is incredibly professional and patient in explaining all of the steps to how Ortho K contacts worked to us. She's absolutely wonderful and very meticulous at each appointment ---always does her best in correcting our vision. 10/10 would recommend her care!

Dr. Xu recommended Ortho-K Lenses after seeing my discontent with constantly wearing glasses. Contacts never sat right in my eye and were always irritating. I play a lot of sports so having these clunky glasses on my face was hindering my performance. Dr. Xu completely understood my issues and worked with me towards achieving my goal! My eyesight is significantly better now and the daily contacts she recommended sit more comfortable in my eye. I'm really glad Dr. Xu was able to help me so much!!!

I've been super nearsighted since middle school and have used regular contacts ever since. After a few hours of wear, they tend to get very dry and irritate my eyes. This is especially worse as the day goes on so by the evening I resort to wearing my glasses. I had just submitted myself to this continuous annoying cycle until I changed eye care centers. Dr. Xu was so understanding of my frustrations and really listened to my problems. I'm wearing my contacts for much longer now that I've started going to her :)

I have no idea where all of these five stars came from and an overall rating of four stars...... I had the worst service I have ever had at an eye doctor's office and I have been wearing glasses for 43 years! I also have had better service at the Walmart eye care center! The front desk has NO customer service skills! A week after my exam, I received the phone call from the office but, I missed the call. I called them back within minutes, no one answered the phone and the office was not yet closed. I also did NOT receive a voicemail message telling me that my glasses were ready, as well as no one trying to reach me after the initial phone call. I called the office back a few days later (as they are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to find out if my glasses were ready. When I got to the office on Monday, I gave my name and said that I was there to pick up my glasses. The girl at the front desk handed me my glasses in a case and said, "Try them on to see how they fit." There was no taking a seat and having someone fit your glasses to your face, which has always been the case anywhere I ever went. When the doctor came out (in between patients), I told him that the frames were a little loose and they needed to be tightened. He asked me to wait in the waiting area but, changed his mind and said I could have a seat in the display area. Once that was settled and before I left, I asked the front desk for an itemized copy of my receipt. She started to fill out a piece of paper and then said that before she completed it and gave me a copy, she would have to speak to the doctor because she had some questions - said she would email me a copy. I received that copy and it was a photo that was taken with her cell phone, along with the shadow of her phone and her hand in the picture of my receipt! Seriously, this is so unprofessional! I felt like such an inconvenience..... I do NOT recommend this office!

Was the quickest eye exam I've ever had. So quick the Rx was INCORRECT! My right eye has never been worse than my left in 35 years of wearing glasses. Bought 3 pairs of glasses last year and now have to buy more with the RIGHT Rx. Do not recommend!
