I have never in my life experienced such HORRIBLE service from a medical practice. The receptionist ("Lisa") was extremely RUDE. I was attempting to make an appointment for a new patient and she mentioned that they were blocked for an appointment that never existed. I DO NOT recommend this location to anyone unless you want to be treated horribly. It's honestly unbelievable. - 0000000 stars.
I don't usually take the time to write many reviews, but after the extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist, I felt compelled to write my experience. I would give zero stars if I could. I don't know if she was having a horrible day or what, and she just needed a person to take it out on, and I was chosen, because I had the audacity to try to get an appointment with their office. I had an eye emergency on a Friday and ended up in the ER and they simply said to "follow up with an eye doctor next week". My doctor retired, so I wanted to find somewhere close to home. This place looked and sounded great online. They did a great job at attempting to make themselves look good, but this is was proven untrue with a short phone call. I explained my situation and she abruptly put me on hold, came back and said "call the on-call doctor you saw Friday, it was Dr. YXZ". And she gave me not one, not two, but three numbers of who she said I saw Friday (the first 2 numbers were not for that doctor, she couldn't get that right), I tried to say I didn't go to their office but to the ER. The ER doctor said to follow up with an eye doctor. So this was explained to her again. Again, I was put on hold and she came back and said I need to follow-up with the on-call doctor. I asked, if this was the doctor I should see or the doctor I saw Friday. She said it was the doctor on Friday. AGAIN I said I don't go to your office, I went to the ER and they just want me to follow-up with an eye doctor, and I asked can I set up an appointment. She said No, I need to go to the ER. I asked why and she said because that is who diagnosed me. I said, the ER said to follow-up with an eye doctor. And she said it's busy and likely she won't be able to get me in this week anyways. And she hung up. She didn't look, she didn't treat me like a human, she treated me like I was asking for her first born child. I was calm and nice, till the end, when I got snippy right before she hung up and said, "I hope you have a terrific day, you have been so unhelpful". In the end, I'll travel to see a professional. I can't imagine going to such an unprofessional type place. I am in shock of how mean people are and how rude. Her job, is to help people not treat them like dog crap! She didn't want to work. My suggestion to her, don't work as a receptionist if you hate people so much! I hope she has the day she deserves. I really never want to be a "may I speak to your manager" person. I won't be that person. But I do hope someone out there does. I can't imagine I'm the first or last person she does this too. She is going to run that place in the ground!!! Maybe the doctors are great, I will never know because I'll never go there, nor will I let any of my family or friends. But they should know the business side is looking horrific!!
Ugh! The receptionists in this place make me so upset! My elderly mother has been having memory issues, before I took over her care I guess she missed two appointments, I have been calling every medical centers and they all have been extremely nice about the situation except here! The receptionist was so freaking rude, "I cannot make you an appointment, she missed two appointments back to back, she can't be seen here anymore!" As if it was a crime she committed or something! They are not friendly at all especially to their elderly patients! Even if they allowed it Im not taking her to this place ever! And Im pulling my dad out of there as well!
Dr Bouvier is the best! He's kind and actually listens to his patients. I've recommended him to my family and friends and they have all been very happy with him.
I have zero complaints about the care I get here, but placing this review to mention they probably should add to their voice answering service what hours their desk staff is on lunch. Coming from someone that also works in healthcare, theres no need to have the patient select an option on the phone tree to have it ring and then get told to call back in an hour. You guys can add something to the automated message to save everyone (patients and staff) wasted time and energy. I could tell the person on the other end didn't want to answer the phone. Any place I've called where there are scheduled no call times will have a message before we even get to that step.
I could not be happier with Dr. Bouvier, and the two cataract surgeries he performed on my eyes. I'm seeing better than ever. The care I received was first class. My only complaint which should serve as a warning Future patients, is don't try to take Uber or another taxi service to surgery or they will not do the procedure.
Doctor Bouvier is an excellent eye doctor. He is the best I have seen. He is thorough as he spends a lot of time with patients explaining the health issues that are ailing them. He really knows his staff. His care is exceptional. Thank you doctor Bouvier!
