Many thanks to Karen and Dr. Hanson for a thorough and professional experience with Springfield Eye Associates. My wait time was brief and both Karen and Dr. Hanson spent time listening to my concerns and providing needed information in an understandable way. Options to address my eye condition were offered by Dr. Hanson and a follow up appointment was scheduled. It was very helpful to leave with a list of the options in hand.

I have been going there for nearly 20 years. I used to see Dr. Gregory Faust. True gentleman. Excellent bedside manners. Explained everything in detail. Unfortunately he had to retire due to health reasons. They assigned me to Sarah Hanson. Cold as ice. It was very awkward. I asked to be transferred and was assigned to Dr. Moriatis. He is alright. My biggest complaint is really the front staff, most times than not, range from rude to veeery rude. Rarely you find someone friendly or polite. Recently they changed my appointment twice. They never called me either time but I learned about the first time because I called to confirm. I showed up the day of my appointment and found out it had been canceled. I asked why was I not notified and was told they called me and spoke to me my husband. I DON'T HAVE A HUSBAND. It is just my daughter and me. I don't even have family here. And the receptionist was very rude when I told her.

My friend Sue was treated very badly financially when she had her annual eye exam last year. Her ins was billed incorrectly by Springfield Eye Associates billing department for her "annual" eye exam and Dr Bredvik would not agree to correct this. She ended up with a $196.00 bill that should have been paid by her insurance but wasn't because Dr. Bredvik's billing office billed it wrong. My friend tried to get this corrected and Dr. Bredvik was very uncooperative. He literally refused to do anything! If you want a caring, compassionate doctor do not go to Dr. Bredvik! !
