Sudbury Eye Care

My kids and I have been going to Dr. Labiento since we moved here 5 years ago, she is wonderful. Thorough, helpful and patient with my kids. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Dr. Labiento by a family friend, and was shocked by the quality of care she provided. She gave a more thorough exam than I had ever gotten, yet somehow also competed it faster. When helping me pick frames, she found a pair that I absolutely love, and she made sure they fit perfectly. I neglected to pick up my frames for over 3 weeks (I had been swamped that month with personal issues out of state) but she managed to schedule me for the next day, and was very understanding still! The care provided is better than other larger practices, but the prices are equal or lower!

My husband and I will never return. We saw her a couple times over the years and each time was worse than the previous . Dr L can be very cold and callous, as another reviewer worded perfectly. Just one example, she promised to help me set up my loupes after the purchase of lenses for them. On delivery she was dismissive, declined to help, told me it was easy to do myself and look it up online. I would if it were that simple. She treated me like an idiot and yelled at me! This is my rating below 3 stars ever. I do not give them out lightly.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sudbury Eye Care and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted with professionalism and care. Dr. Lorraine Labiento conducted a very thorough eye exam, explaining each step in a way that was easy to understand. I felt confident and trusted her expertise completely. What stood out most was the attention to detail, not just during the exam but also in helping me select the perfect pair of frames. She took the time to find options that were both flattering and functional.

Dr. L is the best around! Highly recommend for all your eye care and eyewear needs!

Sudbury eye care is a great resource for our family. I would highly recommend if you are looking for an eye doctor.

Dr. L does an amazing job. She gives very accurate eye exams and is a very knowledgeable ophthalmologist. Even if you don't have any known health issues it's a good idea to have an ophthalmologist that can identify problems. Eye health is interconnected with your overall health. If, like me, you have health issues, it's critical to have someone like Dr. L as your partner to help keep you healthy. I've gone to her for years for myself and my daughter. The optical shop is wonderful. The optometry specialist is very patient and always goes above and beyond. She isn't happy until you find glasses that you love. My daughter was shy and didn't want to speak up at first, when she didn't like a pair of glasses. The specialist picked up on this and encouraged her and helped her feel comfortable sharing. For kids this is important. If the glasses don't fit right or they don't like how they look in their glasses, they may not wear them later. Once they arrived at the shop, the specialist took her time adjusting the frames to ensure they fit perfectly. If you have issues after purchase (growing kid anyone?) they'll adjust the frames for free. I will never go to another eye place while I live in this area. Cannot recommend enough!

Dr Labiento Smith is a gifted eye doctor who runs a wonderful practice. She has a great assortment of glasses to offer and is enthusiastic, skilled and generous. She has gone out of her way to help me out in a few difficult situations with my glasses. She has provided service beyond what one would automatically expect. Her staff is always helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I recommend her highly.
