The entire staff was terrific. I was well prepped for my consultation. Audrey came in like a whirlwind. Bang bang bang. Little discussion of types of lenses. A typical authoritarian: "I've decided..." I had no idea what lenses she had "decided", what to expect. I like to be involved in my healthcare decisions.
And she booked me for surgery five days later not knowing if I could arrange a driver on very short notice.
In a flash she was gone. I got out of tyere as fast as I
could. Audrey is likely very good surgeon. Her patient relations are horrible.

Dr. Chan has taken exceptional care of my vision and treated my carcinoma of the eye. I find her to be gentle and professional in her approach and extremely competent as an eye surgeon. I would highly recommend this doctor and will continue to see her for my vision care.

Be prepared to wait over 40 minutes, never to be seen, only to find out 5 more patients are in front of you. When I inquired my status, I was told I could have to wait up to two hours. I was never told of an emergency, or given an option to reschedule. After writing to the doctor questioning her motives for her practice [patient care or financial gain] I was dismissed as a patient. An apology would have been more appropriate. It is clear her patients have nothing else to do with their day then wait around to be seen. Some of us have a job and expect to be seen during our appointment time.
