Best eye doctor EVER !! He found and corrected an issue my husband had been dealing with for years - and he made our 4yr old son so comfortable with his first visit and his new glasses !! Dr. Martin even made him a balloon animal. The whole staff is amazing and so personable. We love it here!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Martin at Auburn Optical. My son has been a patient for a few years. My husband had an eye injury last month, and he got him right in and fix the problem after he had already been to Urgent care and was still in a lot of pain. Last week I woke up with a swollen eye, the morning of dress rehearsal for my dance studio. I called and they got me right in. I needed an antibiotic, but I'm allergic to several antibiotics, so he had to take extra precautions and time to come up with a solution for me. He truly goes above and beyond for his patients. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well cared for. Dr. Martin took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answer all my questions, and never made me feel rushed. It's clear he genuinely cares about his patients' well-being and comfort. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail are unmatched. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional eye care! Dr. Martin and his entire staff are wonderful!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Auburn Optical. Dr. Martin and his team are very active on social media and in the community, which gave me the confidence to make an appointment. Lexie was friendly, educational and talked me through the process with my exam and my appointment for contact lenses. A great addition to Auburn Optical. Dr. Martin then introduced himself and my vision and care felt like his number one priority. Casual, informative and focused on achieving the best results for me - I was sent away with trial lenses on two occasions to make sure I was perfectly happy with my day to day vision after each adjustment. Dr. Martin does a great job! I feel confident that my eye health is in good hands with him. He also made the process with my 5yo stress free. He was warm and friendly with her and made her feel comfortable. She loves going to see him! I am glad he will be able to help us if she has issues with near sightedness in the future too. The staff is always friendly and helpful too. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for an eye care practice who cares and is very knowledgeable.

Dr. Martin and his staff are wonderful! I'm an optometrist and I'm very nearsighted myself. When my daughter started to become nearsighted, I knew how important it is to slow the progression while she's still young. Dr. Martin was recommended to me by a colleague, and it's evident that myopia management is his passion. We traveled to see Dr. Martin for ortho-K contacts, which reshape her cornea while she's sleeping. This results in clearer vision during the day without glasses and also slows the progression of myopia. My daughter was nervous going into the appointment, but Dr. Martin and his staff quickly put her at ease. Ivy took her measurements, and Debbie taught her how to insert and remove the speciality contacts that were designed for her. My daughter said both women were so nice, and she thought Dr. Martin was very funny and kind. The whole process has been much smoother than I expected. The exam and follow up appointment were efficient, handling the contacts has been a breeze, and the contacts are much more comfortable than my daughter expected. She's been wearing them for almost a week, and she's waking up with 20/20 vision! I'm so grateful for Dr. Martin and his staff!

I am so amazed by the wonderful experience my family has had at Auburn Optical. Dr. Martin has worked so well with my 13 year old son to get him on myopia management and OrthoK. After one night of treatment, my son has nearly 20/20 vision. Max has made this whole process seamless. He explains everything so well and goes out of his way to make everyone comfortable with their treatment plan and financial options. I.V. and Mary were so patient with my son while teaching him all the ins and outs of OrthoK lens use and hygiene. They never got frustrated with him and kept him calm during the process too! All of the staff were so understanding about my smaller children who were a bit impatient during the appointment. Dr. Martin even gave them balloon animals to keep them entertained during the assessment. I also want to thank the team for offering a free consultation for the OrthoK. Having the chance to learn about this option for myopia management with no strings attached is so refreshing these days. You can tell that the whole team at Auburn Optical is there to help anyone they can while doing what they love! Like Dr. Martin likes to say. "It's his jam!" And I know they all feel that way.
