America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I have had the most disappointing experience of my life at this location. After being texted that my glasses were ready, again, for pickup because they screwed up my prescription so badly the first time, my prescription is STILL wrong. I tried on the new glasses and told them it was an improvement over the first prescription, but something was still off. I was getting nauseous. The girl that was helping me was nice enough, but told me point blank that I had to take them home and "give them an honest shot" over the weekend. Then, an associate who wasn't helping me and across the store, loudly started talking at me that it is 6pm at night, I have to take the new glasses home and wear them all weekend to see if I can adjust. I couldn't even make it the five minute drive to my house without feeling woozy with the new glasses. I'm frustrated that my prescription is still not right, and even more frustrated that I was treated the way I was when I expressed that something wasn't right. So here I am, wearing my old glasses after shelling out of pocket for new glasses that make me sick because I was given no other solution. I will be returning to the store tomorrow to return the bs glasses I was sold and demanding a full refund. Never again will I go to America's Best. You're better off walking around half blind than the hassle of going to this place.

The Staff was friendly and Professional from the Receptionist to the Eye techs. The process was smooth and Comfortable. Everyone was knowledgeable and informative. I had a very good experience from start to finish. I Highly recommend America's Best for Quality and Value.

First time patient today after not getting my eyes checked in 2 years. Not only did they work with my budget they were all so friendly and welcoming!! The exam and wait time was quick. I have insurance (which isn't amazing), but most places are double the cost of what my insurance can cover and I end up having to pay $200+ for 1 pair. Today, I got 2 pairs with blue light, anti glare, and scratch resistance coatings for $157. You can't get better deals and care anywhere else!!! The facility is clean, spacious, and bright. There are loads of affordable frames in lots of styles. There are a few designer choices but they carry really great quality non-name brand frames that are super affordable. Its not the frame that matters but the actual lenses that you NEED, so to get what I was looking for all in my budget and I have 2 glasses in 2 really nice styles is a huge win!!! I will continue to come here and I urge anyone looking for glasses to come here too.

This place is pretty nice all the people that work there are very kind and professional was able to go in for 4:00 appointment get my eye exam and take care of everything including transition lenses under $200 in 45 minutes definitely recommend

Jojo at America's Best in Bay City is the real MVP! Super helpful, professional, and hilarious. Found me the perfect frames and made the whole process actually fun. 10/10 recommend!

From the moment I walked in the door until I left very pleasant very professional. We laughed during my appointment. I mean it was fun! I saw Jennifer Elijah, O.D. at the Bay City, MI location and she was very thorough at explaining everything and I felt all my questions were answered. They took care of my insurance I picked out frames it was super easy. They didn't push hard to upsell me on things I didn't need. I highly recommend checking them out.

They got me in the same day I called. Everyone including dr was so friendly and helpful.
