Dr. Jeff Hayden

I had a visit a month ago with my son. They were so kind, Patient and helpful for the both of us. I was very nervous since it was his first visit. He enjoyed the whole thing. I also was getting contacts and they have helped me find a comfortable pair. No rushing, or getting aggravated. I've NEVER had an office be so amazing. Thank you!!!

A terrible interaction with a receptionist four years ago is completely resolved; she no longer works at the office. The staff there is now kind and helpful, and Dr. Hayden is an open communicator who is skilled in his work and bends over backwards to make sure that he is giving the best care.

Don't get conned by their "comprehensive" eye exam. They won't tell you your eye insurance wont cover this exam. Also expect not to receive a Hippa form, but be expected to sign a piece of paper saying you have received it. Also don't expect to have a resolution to concerns that you have with the office. They couldn't care less about your concerns. There's not enough character count for me to really say how I feel about this office.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Jamie Visel for years and we have always received incredible care. Dr. Visel & Dr. Hayden are always happy to spend as much time as needed to answer all our questions and provide us the information we are looking for. I always be sure to recommend Cook & Hayden Vision Care Center to anyone looking for anyone new to the area or looking for a new eye doctor.

I called the office about a visual problem with one eye. He got me in the office within 2 hours, determined the problem and had me seeing an eye surgeon in Southfield within another 2 hours. Thanks to the quick response, the damage to my eye was minimized. On my first visit visit to his office after my surgery, he had already reviewed letters from the eye surgeon regarding the operation and the initial healing process . He was very gracious in taking extra time with me answering questions I had about my recovery and what I could expect long term.

Dr. Hayden is absolutely wonderful and so fun to see. He has the most infectious laugh ever and explains things with easy terminology. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Been going here for years. The office staff is also very pleasant

My experience was dreadful. I was diagnosed with macular degeneration by their office. I was so upset (had to wait 3 months because of Covid) to see 2 ophthalmologist who diagnosed no macular degeneration. When I contacted Cook's office and expected a polite sorry this happened, I got my bill sent to a collection agency. They also stated that I didn't know what I was talking about. Don't put yourself thru this misery and frustration let alone possible misdiagnosis.

I left after 20 years with Cook/Hayden due to obnoxious, incompetent and rude office/billing staff. Hayden misdiagnosed a medical eye issue for my daughter for 2 years which is causing severe issues for her now. When I tried to go directly to Hayden with complaints, all my communications were completely ignored!
