They will rob you BLIND no pun intended! Never told me he was dilating my eyes and I couldn't see for over 30 min. They said I had to get a bunch of bells and whistles on my glasses and my kids when I repeatedly said I don't need them as I only wear them at night when I take contacts out, then proceeded to tell me my 8 yr old daughters pair would be $170. I don't have that kind of money to spend on them, she's young and could easily lose them (I even told them she lost her first pair while traveling for soccer tournaments.) or accidentally break them especially when she plays soccer. I was guilted into buying them when I shouldn't have since my insurance covered the basic she needed. Tired of vision and dental doing more than needed when it's just not affordable for everyone. Soon after, my sister told me about an online store that takes our insurance and their glasses come automatically with the blue light blocking, scratch resistant, and glare protection at no extra cost! Ended up getting my daughter a pair just for soccer and with shipping I paid $35. Ended up being pretty much the same pair I paid $170 for.

I normally see Dr. Hayes but I had an acute eye concern and Dr. Carder was able to see me the same day and address my issue. Another office I had called wanted me to wait a week before I may have been seen. If I had an emergency, I may have potentially lost my vision waiting for said appointment.

We absolutely love Dr. Carder!! She is absolutely wonderful with the kids! I have had 2 out of 3 kiddos in glasses and she is so great with them. She is helpful and knowledgeable. They do have more frames to choose from that are not on display! It was great not wanting to run somewhere like Costco for glasses. I would recommend Chelsea Eyeglass Co. 100 times over! The staff is very caring and friendly. Such a great team in Chelsea!

Went in right before close to get my glasses switched out and she not only helped me, but did it for free. I am new to the area and she just won my business!

Dr. Hayes is amazing with my entire family. He is a true professional and makes you feel so comfortable. My kids are young and they love him because he jokes around with them and is funny. The entire staff is amazing at both the Saline location, as well as the Chelsea location.

We had a great experience at the Chelsea office! They were able to get my daughter in for an exam while she was home from school, Dr. Hayes was very nice, thorough, and explained everything. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful and my daughter got glasses that she loves in about 10 days! Would highly recommend this office!

Dr. Carder (and team) is very patient, kind, friendly an so knowledgeable. It is worth driving 40 minutes to get her expertise. I've recommended many of my friends and their kids who have all had amazing experiences. She is so knowledgeable in pediatric and adult optometry and goes above and beyond with every patient. I highly recommend her and this practice!

Best eye doctor I have ever seen, all puns intended. However they had me drive all the way out to my appointment and miss time at work just to tell me they do not negotiate with Davis eye care insurance. Was great until it wasn't, even then, only wasted a couple hours.
