Customer service was lacking. They treat you like a paycheck not a patient. When I told them I would order my contacts from 1-800-contacts because they were cheaper contacts they tried to charge for the prescription even though I already paid for the eye exam. They also made me wait 3 days for it. This was 2 years ago. I just ordered contacts again from 1-800-contacts again with the same script and they are refusing to send them as UP Ophthalmology won't sign off on it unless I come in again. Seems like a money grab. My vision hasn't changed in 15 years. The script has been the same but I have to pay them and waste my time sitting in chair so I can get more contacts. Also, they rush people in and out to crank over as many people/paychecks as possible in a day. I will drive to Marquette Downtown Eye Care from now on where they care about the patient.

Waited in parking lot with my 89 year old mother 30 minutes beyond her appointment time, while others came and went. Explanation was they were swamped after lunch-curious aren't all appointments scheduled? Poor excuse. Proper scheduling should avoid these lengthy delays.
