McDowell Eye Care

Years ago, Dr Mcdowell figured out my diagnosis after being misdiagnosed somewhere else. My vision has returned to normal and Ive been following with him ever since. Honestly one of the nicest people I know- I thought I might be getting special treatment as Im a doctor as well, but judging from the other reviews, he and his staff treat everyone very kindly and patiently. Highly recommended to anyone needing eyecare.

Dr. McDowell, Adrienne and the entire staff are kind and helpful. This office is incredibly clean and has updated technology and techniques you won't find at every office. They were very patient helping me find contacts that were a perfect fit and make scheduling a breeze. I would not go anywhere else.

I have could not of had a better experience with Lauren who adjusted my glasses it was the perfect fit and now glasses actually stay on my head. lol

Frustrated with a prior vision place, I asked a dear friend for a recommendation on where to go. She recommended McDowell Eye Care and I'm so happy that she did! Dr.Davies and the staff were so kind!! I had the best experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Dr.Davies knows her stuff, and was so warm and caring! The best eye doctor I've been to. I've gone with my SO for his appointment and had one of my own. Never had to wait long but never felt rushed. Dr. McDowell and his staff are so friendly and helpful. I've been recommending them to all my friends and family. Seriously if you need to see an eye doctor, GO HERE! Leigh helped me with my glasses and was very honest and helpful with picking out a pair that I like and that are flattering for my face. Also I know people who've had their eye doctors give them a hard time when they needed their prescription information but you won't have a problem with that here! Again very friendly and helpful!

Absolutely the best! *Everyone* working here is wonderful. They are so kind, patient, and seem to really enjoy interacting with, well, patients. Also, if you have sensory issues like me, this is a great place to go. It's library-quiet! None of the staff feels the need to shout, it's heavenly. They genuinely care and have compassion for people. They also don't give you any difficulty if you need to say, order cheap glasses online for financial reasons, they're completely understanding and don't make it weird like I've experienced elsewhere. Another place in town gave me a hard time about repairing glasses that were slightly out of warranty, even though I offered up front to pay for the repair. Here, Melissa offered to help with an issue with my glasses just because she noticed and cared. I wound up buying a full new set anyway but I felt so grateful.

I have been seeing Dr. McDowell for years and have always been impressed with his professionalism. He takes the extra time to explain different circumstances and wants to ensure great care. Not to mention the staff is always great to work with as well. Never have to wait once I check-in, and the office is extremely clean with great choices for glasses.
