Walmart Vision & Glasses

I cannot thank Charlene and Dr. Balzer for their outstanding customer service I received. I was visiting town and my last contact had ripped in my eye. I was able to get 3/4 of it out, but I called and they got me in within 15 minutes to remove the remaining piece. Along with completing an eye exam since mine was expired. After completing the eye exam, I was able to get a set of contacts to get me through the rest of my trip. A huge thank you to both of them!! Their dedication and understanding did not go unnoticed.

The ladies there are absolutely wonderful. My toddler daughter was fighting every step of the process and was having a melt down. These amazing ladies went above and beyond to comfort her and help in every way possible to get the job done. Val even sat on the floor with us and calmed my daughter down with pictures of her horses and pets. I would recommend them to anyone who appreciates kind, exceptional vision care.

Having 7 major surgeries on my eyes I can write this review with above average patient insight. Obviously I have had much pain both literal and the pain in the butt eye doctors.That said because of all my surgeries my sight changes all the time. Unfortunately, some of my worst experiences have been with optometrist for eye glasses. For some unknown reason they think they know more than specialist that are professors of major Colleges. This has not been the case with Doctor Elizabeth A. Tremblay of Walmart Vision Center in Gaylord, MI. This very nice well educated Doctor was a pleasure to work with in all aspects. She never tried to over step her bounds like most others and after considerable time communicating on obtaining good vision she did not try to push their glasses. She was very informative using state-of-the-art-equipment. I was very impressed and felt very good after my appointment. Please remember Walmart is no longer a second rate organization. This vision center was top notch including the staff. Remember to answer legitimate questions and take your time with adjustments as the Dr. presents them to you. Your eyes are very important to your wellbeing. Take care of them. Doctor Tremblay will help.

The whole team is great. My vision had been decreasing rapidly. The doctor squeezed me in about 6 different times over the course of 6 months. She and the team made the whole process much easier. I can't say enough good about the whole team. Thank you!!

Great place. They accept most insurances for exams and treat you very professionally. I drive 60 miles to get service by these gals. It is worth it. I have gone to high price eye doctors and they treat you like a number and are very snobbish. Walmart Gaylord treats you like a friend. Thanks Walmart Gaylord.

Forgot my contacts at home in southern Michigan, Val helped me out in a pinch to get some trial pairs so I did not have to blindly pull the boat home..... She was extremely helpful and very friendly... Give that girl a raise!!!

I was on vacation and lost a lens out of my glasses, and they worked with my eye doctor back home to get me 10 trial pairs of contact lenses so that I could still enjoy my trip and make it home to fix my glasses! Really nice people.

So happy with everything! They spend the time with you, answer all your questions, don't rush you, help you get used to your new glasses. Definitely the best place I have been and recommend!
